If we allow what is known in science to dictate what is real, we've lost what science is.
Osteopathy was developed on the frontier of America as it spread west. Everything developed in those days was all trial and error. And yet over 150 years later it's still here.
In the offices of Osteopathic Manual Therapists around youll find tools, techniques and thought process passed down from those days and the days since. AND, you'll get live experiencing of science in action. When something doesnt work or the patient doesn't get better, you change the approach to find another way to communicate with the body to help it adjust it's condition.
No doors remain closed because 'X and X technique' or application didnt work. You go and explore other thoughts and ideas in the osteopathic world that may help you help those people that aren't getting better by any other intervention. Doesn't matter if it's in the scientific literature or not if it's helping the individual's condition improve.
Rant ended.
