Domingo Lumanog MyDomingo is where visibility begins. We curate style, story, leadership and books that shape how we show up, led by Domingo Lumanog, Visibility Architect.

Explore personal styling, speaking, the MyDomingo Mastermind, the Chic of the Closet series, and My I lead at Berlitz Canada and I do visibility work. The visibility work is about individuals and organizations — wellness, education, and styling as three pillars that motivate people to actually show up. Not just be present. Show up. I've been fortunate enough to spend my career in rooms that weren't designed for me — and to live authentically inside them anyway. That experience is the work. Representation matters, but representation without showing up is just optics. I'm interested in the blend: how do you get people to the table and then actually be seen once they're there? That question lives in everything I do. At Berlitz Canada, where I serve as Vice President of Sales, I build the kind of commercial and operational clarity that makes organizations perform consistently across national markets. At MyDomingo, I work with leaders on visibility, presence, and what it actually takes to lead out loud. And in Chic of the Closet — my leadership storytelling series now in its first season — I ask guests two questions and get out of the way.

1st Generation Canadian. Filipino-born, Calgary-raised. I sit on the Calgary Police Service Gender and Sexual Diversity Advisory Board and the Chief's Super Board. 2025 Tourism Calgary White Hat Honouree. 2026 Western Trailblazer Award. Avenue Magazine Best Dressed, 2019 and 2021. If you're putting together a conference, a leadership event, or an internal program and you want someone who can speak to visibility, identity, and showing up from a place of actual lived experience — I'd love to know: in your organization, how does diversity show up?

Working outside over the Thanksgiving weekend gave me a quiet moment to pause and reflect. I’m grateful for how far I’ve come, for the work I get to do, and for everything still ahead.

My grandmother often said, “If you find work you love, you’ll never have to work a day in your life.” Purpose, passion, and gratitude transform work into something far more meaningful.

Happy Thanksgiving. I’m thankful for the present and energized by what comes next.

My old office is now a Starbucks. And under the Blue Sky City — downtown Calgary has never looked better.

Calgary Pride Week runs August 31st to September 6th and the downtown core is alive with events, experiences, and celebrations for every kind of person.

Check out Explore Downtown YYC’s Pride Week Events Calendar for all the Calgary Pride Week events happening downtown — one link, every event, mobile or desktop.

My pick this week — Pride In Business: UP and OUT Rooftop Pride Kickoff, Thursday September 3rd. Business community, rooftop, downtown Calgary. Do not miss this one.

Honored to celebrate Rina Guerrero’s Induction, Activation and Donning into the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary — 215.5 PCGA, Alberta Division.

A powerful ceremony followed by a testimonial dinner recognizing the volunteers who dedicate their time to maritime safety, search and rescue, and community service.

Proud to stand with the Filipino community in Calgary honoring this milestone. Service runs in the family.

The ones who showed up. 🤍

A birthday is only as good as the room it’s celebrated in. And this room? It was everything.

August 18th at The Wilde on 27 — a patio buyout, a table full of people who chose to be there, and the kind of energy that only happens when love is genuinely in the room.

I have been told that I work a room. That I keep the energy flowing. That hosting looks effortless from the outside. What people don’t always see is that it takes everything you have — and that the only reason it works is because the guests bring just as much as the host does.

Every single person in this photo brought it. 🥂

To the team at The Dorian Hotel and The Wilde on 27 — thank you for holding with such grace and turning it into something none of us will forget.

And to Manolo Simon | Etienne | Domingo — this room existed because of you. Happy 40th, my love. 🤍

40. 🤍

On the 27th floor of The Dorian Hotel , with the Calgary skyline as witness and The Wilde on 27 setting a table worthy of the moment — we celebrated the most extraordinary person I get to call mine.

Manolo Simon | Etienne | Domingo — you came into this world on August 18, 1986, and every room you have walked into since has been better for it. Your wit. Your depth. Your commitment to beauty in all its forms. The way you see the world and then write it down so the rest of us can finally understand what we were looking at.

Forty looks like this. Beaded. Intentional. Unbothered. Magnificent.

Thank you The Dorian Hotel and The Wilde on 27 for holding this night with such grace. And thank you to everyone who showed up — you know who you are. 🥂

Here’s to everything that’s coming. 🤍
