If you’ve booked with us, you’ve probably met my mom first. Olena has been doing hair removal for over 17 years now, and her hands, experience and knowledge are the reason most of you keep coming back.
I’m Mariia, the other half of Shu Beauty. You won’t always see me in the treatment room, but I’m behind most of what happens around it: the booking replies, the schedule, the pricing, the 15 phone calls per day, the laser questions, the «what should I do before my first appointment?» messages at 9 pm.
When we opened Shu Beauty, we wanted a place where nobody feels awkward asking a question, and nobody feels judged once they’re on the treatment bed.
My mom and business partner brings the experience. I bring the systems, the spreadsheets, accounting, marketing, advertisements, the website, the ideas, and the occasional strong opinion about towel colours.
