ATTN: ALL CAREGIVERS! REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!

The CARES Caregiver support program gives families a safe place to learn new skills, share, be heard, and connect in a way that fosters resiliency.

CARES is a seven-week group program to target the social, emotional, and psychological challenges that can arise among caregivers of children with complex needs. We help caregivers care for themselves because the more they show up for themselves, the more they can show their loved ones the way.

Central West – Adult Music and Movement in Mississauga for Autistic Adults 18+

Autistic adults can join us for an evening of music and movement with Shine Music and Therapy Services. Participants will be guided through various music-based interventions and activities, such as rhythm exercises, singing, instrumental play, and movement to music, all while ensuring a comfortable pace that allows for sensory preferences and emotional expression.

Our goal is to create an immersive environment that fosters connection, cognitive engagement, self-expression, communication, physical movement, and leadership opportunities, all within an inclusive and uplifting space.

This gathering engages autistic adults 18+ who do not require 1:1 support (individual support is not provided). There will be one staff member present to sign participants in and stay for the duration of the event.

Date: Thursday, March 6, 2025; Time: 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm
