Pelvic Health Solutions is an evidence-based teaching company that aims to educate and empower physiotherapists, healthcare professionals, and everyday people about pelvic health. Pelvic Health Solutions was founded in 2010 out of the need to develop pelvic health resources in Ontario at a time when it was an under-serviced health concern. Our company provides high-quality, continuing education courses, mentoring, and clinical resources for a wide variety of practitioners with the goal of equipping them to deliver evidence-based, biopsychosocial assessment and treatment of pelvic health problems in our province and abroad. Pelvic Health Solutions also exists as a way to connect people experiencing pelvic health concerns to pelvic health physiotherapists in their area. The company has ultimately blossomed into a community of curious people who are committed to their life long journey of learning about pelvic health.

πŸ“£Help shape how physiotherapists support people with genito-pelvic pain.

Physiotherapist and PhD candidate Jodie Pulsifer is leading a study on how physiotherapists (PTs) manage genito-pelvic pain (GPP). We’re seeking your input on a treatment framework to help Canadian physiotherapists better support people with GPP.

If you’re a Canadian pelvic health physiotherapist or someone with experience of GPP who has received care from a physiotherapist, we want to hear from you.

The BRIDGE team developed a draft treatment framework following an international consensus study. We’ll hold four focus groups to hear what you think:

1. Urban PTs
2. Rural PTs
3. People with GPP in urban areas
4. People with GPP in rural areas

Swipe through to find the survey that’s right for you:

πŸ’¬ Slide 1: People with GPP
πŸ’¬ Slide 2: Pelvic health physiotherapists

If you’re in one of these groups and would like to participate, scan the QR code on the relevant slide to complete the eligibility screening survey.

Please share with someone you know who may be eligible.

Paul is a physiotherapy researcher and neuroscientist at The University of Queensland, where he directs the Centre for Innovation in Pain and Health Research. His work spans men’s health, pain research and clinical translation, and he pioneered the use of transperineal ultrasound imaging in men.
