Thinking beyond boundaries 🚀

Together with our event partners, the U.S. Embassy Tallinn, Estonia and Estonian Business School (EBS), we welcomed Shelli Brunswick, CEO of SB Global LLC, for The Space Mindset.

Her presentation and the discussion, moderated by Ester Eomois, explored leadership, courage, entrepreneurship and innovation. Four reflections from Shelli capture the spirit of the afternoon:

💡 Leadership means asking bigger questions, challenging assumptions and creating opportunities for others.

🚀 The Space Mindset means seeing possibilities beyond traditional boundaries: Build Markets. Build Talent. Build Scale.

🌍 Innovation depends on connecting people, ideas and opportunities across industries and borders. As Shelli put it: “Technology creates possibilities. Human ingenuity turns those possibilities into progress.”

✨ Her next ambition is to turn the Space Mindset into a global movement, empowering women, young leaders and entrepreneurs to see opportunities where others see limitations.

Warm thanks to Shelli Brunswick, Ester Eomois, Sirli Kalep, and the entire U.S. Embassy Tallinn, Estonia and Estonian Business School teams for their collaboration in making this event possible!

AmCham Estonia's Pre-Election Debate 2026! 🇪🇪 🇺🇸

Yesterday afternoon, AmCham Estonia hosted one of the first pre-election political debates, bringing together representatives of 7 political parties for an open and engaging discussion with Estonia's international and local business community.

Why start the conversation so early?
Because we believe that putting important topics and questions on the table well ahead of the elections is the best way to encourage meaningful dialogue and help shape the future policy agenda.
After all, "Always Ahead of the Curve" has been AmCham Estonia's motto for many years, and proactive engagement is exactly what it stands for!

Our panel featured:
1. Andrei Korobeinik – Keskerakond /Centre Party
2. Martin Helme – EKRE
3. Kristjan Järvan – Isamaa erakond/Pro Patria
4. Riina Sikkut – Sotsiaaldemokraatlik Erakond/ Social Democratic Party
5. Henri Arras – Reformierakond/Reform Party
6. Peeter Tali – Eesti 200 ja sõbrad/ Estonia 200
7. Kristjan Vanaselja – Parempoolsed

Guided by our excellent moderators, Sandra Kamilova (Miltton New Nordics) and Maria Pihlak (Sorainen Eesti), we tackled four important topics:
- Defence & Security
- Economic Recovery
- Energy
- Healthcare

For AmCham Estonia, creating opportunities for direct, constructive dialogue between policymakers and the business community is an important part of our mission. We believe these conversations are essential to strengthening Estonia's competitiveness, attracting investment, and ensuring a predictable and business-friendly environment.

A big THANK YOU to all seven political representatives for sharing their perspectives, to our fantastic moderators for steering the conversation, and to everyone who joined us!
Special thanks to our wonderful event partners — FECC Suomalais-virolainen kauppakamari Soome-Eesti Kaubanduskoda/Finnish-Estonian Chamber of Commerce, Miltton New Nordics, and Sorainen — for their collaboration and support.
And a warm thank you to Hilton Tallinn Park Hotel for hosting us and for the excellent hospitality!

An inspiring afternoon visiting our Charter Gold Member- Tallinna Lastehaigla!

AmCham members had the privilege of going behind the scenes at Estonia’s leading—and only standalone—pediatric hospital, warmly hosted by CEO Konstantin Rebrov, MD and his team.

What impressed us most was how medical excellence and innovation go hand in hand with genuine compassion. Across 31 pediatric specialties, children and their families are at the heart of everything—from treatment and recovery to emotional and developmental well-being.

We also learned more about the hospital’s growing international collaboration, including its membership in the ECHO - European Children's Hospitals Organisation.

A heartfelt thank you to Konstantin Rebrov and the entire Tallinn Children’s Hospital team for your openness, generosity, and exceptionally warm welcome—and to our AmCham members who joined us!

A wonderful reminder that world-class healthcare is ultimately about people, trust, and care.
