When we create, we heal.
Paint, dance, write or sing.

It’s not about being “good at art,” it’s about giving your nervous system a soft place to land and and reset.

Creative expression has been shown to lower stress hormones, lift mood and help us process emotion in ways words alone can’t.

Every sketch, song, scribble or shimmy is a tiny act of medicine for your mind.

Your art doesn’t need to be perfect to be powerful, it just needs to be honest and have some fun.

🖌️ Today’s invitation: take 10 minutes to make something, just for you.

Be creative, don't overthink it negatively.

With Arts Council of Northern Ireland Apex Music Centre and Artist Martin Heron
