🚨Important Notice Regarding Flu Vaccinations

We sincerely apologise to any patients whose flu vaccination appointments have had to be cancelled. Unfortunately, due to exceptionally high demand, we have temporarily run out of flu vaccine stock.

We understand how important it is for you to receive your vaccination and are very sorry for any inconvenience or disappointment this may cause.

Please be assured that all affected patients will be contacted as soon as we receive further supplies to arrange their flu vaccination. We kindly ask for your patience and understanding while we await our next delivery.

Hi everyone! I'm Tia, the Practice Pharmacist, and I joined the surgery at the beginning of August 😊

You may come across me if you're booked in for a telephone medication review, have a medicines-related query, or when I'm reviewing and approving prescriptions. I work closely with the GPs and wider practice team to help make sure medications are safe, effective and working well for our patients.

When I'm not at work, I enjoy 📚 reading, 🍳 cooking (and eating!), 🐶 spending time with my dog, and 💪 keeping active at the gym.

I'm looking forward to getting to know more of our patients and supporting you with your medication needs. 😊💙

🌟 MEET THE TEAM MONDAY 🌟
Hi everyone, I’m Emma, one of the Practice Nurses here at Balderton! 💗

I joined the team in September last year and qualified as a Registered Nurse in July. Although I’ve only been qualified for just over a year, I’ve worked in healthcare for over 20 years, including several years in mental health.

Training as a mature student was definitely hard work, but it was all worth it in the end! I always knew I wanted to work in primary care, where I could make a difference and get to know my patients. ❤️

When I’m not at work, I love spending time with my niece and nephew, catching up with friends and going for walks with my crazy dog, Skye! 🐶 My son also keeps me busy with taxi duties, which I don’t mind too much as it gives us time to catch up in the car. If you know me you will know that I don’t go anywhere without my lippy on! 💄 And I love baking, so you’ll often find me bringing in homemade goodies for the staff. 🧁🍰

I’m very lucky to be part of such an incredible, bubbly team here at Balderton🥰

One final thing… I apologise in advance if your appointment with me runs over, I do love a good chat! 😂💕
