Under-eye improvements take time π€
These photos were taken 6 weeks after this clientβs third and final Juvelook treatment. The change is subtle, with a softer-looking hollow and a smoother transition into the cheek and improved skin texture, getting this lovely client bride ready π°ββοΈ
So, what happens beneath the skin? π¬
Juvelook combines hyaluronic acid with tiny biodegradable particles called PDLLA. Your immune cells recognise these particles and respond by releasing repair-related signals. These signals encourage fibroblasts, the cells that build your skinβs supporting structureβto produce collagen.
Laboratory and animal studies have found increased markers of type I and type III collagen, supporting the science behind this gradual response.
For the under-eyes, the aim is to improve skin quality and support, potentially softening fine lines, crepiness and some shadowing. Collagen takes time to form and organise, so changes develop gradually rather than overnight.
Dark circles have different causes. Pigmentation, puffiness, prominent eye bags and deeper hollows wonβt all respond in the same way, which is why an individual assessment matters.
I offer a range of under-eye treatments, tailored to your concerns and suitability. Message me to find out more and explore which option may be right for you π
Natural yet noticeable β¨
Individual results vary. Photographs show appearance, not a measurement of collagen production; lighting, angle and expression can also affect comparisons. Treatment carries risks, including swelling and nodules.
