Let’s talk salt! 🧂✨

Epsom salt is the magic ingredient that transforms our float rooms from simple pools into weightless, tranquil sanctuaries. With around 500kg packed into each tank, it’s what makes floating completely effortless. In the video we’re pouring in just one of the 25 bags of Epsom salt needed for The Cabin!

So why Epsom salt instead of regular sea salt?

When Dr. John C. Lilly was designing the first float tanks, he needed a solution that would create effortless buoyancy without irritating the skin during long
sessions. Epsom salt (magnesium sulphate) dissolved smoothly at high concentrations, felt amazingly soft on the skin, and didn’t leave harsh, drying salt crusts like sea salt.

Beyond the magic of weightlessness, Epsom salt can also:

* Relieve tension in tired, aching muscles 🏋️‍♂️
* Deliver a restorative boost of magnesium 🌿
* Leave your skin and hair feeling silky and smooth ✨
