Please post to Victory Care home, we are in the halloween spirit this week! We have decorated our "stumpkins" ready for halloween, everyone came up with some wonderful ideas instead of just faces such as bats, ufo's, witch hats and fun colourful stripes! 🎃✨️

We are hosting an exciting day full of music, laughter and celebrations on Friday 30th October! We would love to share this memory with you and encourage friends and family to come along! Fancy dress is welcome and encouraged to put a smile on everyones faces! 👻🎃

We truly enjoyed having some pet therapy here at Victory, all of the residents came out to see Penny and shared lots of smiles, love and a few sneaky treats! It truly was wonderful having a pet in the home for a day and it made the world of a difference to the residents, they enjoyed sharing stories of their own pets they grew up with and reminiscing with each other! 🐕💞

We had the privilege of seeing Abba in the Central theatre and it was truly enjoyed by all who attended! The lights, the music, the dancing made a truly wonderful night of fun and laughter! 👩🏻‍🎤👨🏻‍🎤🎶✨️

We recently made some lovely chocolate butter and honey rice crispy cakes! Once we filled our cupcake cases we had a small taste test with the extra mix and they really enjoyed the taste of the chocolate and honey together and said it was a lovely addition! Once the cakes were set all of the residents got to enjoy the cakes from the morning in our afternoon tea and they were handed out to each of the residents! 🍫🍯

We once again enjoyed some sensory stimulation at the end of our Armchair dancing to wind down the session! This has become a resident favourite on a Friday and a lovely fun way to end the energetic evening with some time to relax! 🫧

We truly enjoyed our new activity recently, Golf! We got a new golf game for the residents in and it was a hit! The residents enjoyed trying to beat eachothers score in some friendly competition, racking up their points and even encouraged eachother to have a go and cheered them on as they played! It was wonderful to see everyone laughing, helping eachother and having fun! ⛳️🏌️‍♂️
