Why are people so bothered about what somebody else's locs look like though? 😂🤦🏾♀️
Seriously, I've heard it all over the years.
Too fluffy, too thin, too thick, too messy, roots need doing, ends need closing... bloody hell, whose head is it?! 🤣🤣
Not everybody wants perfectly neat, uniform locs .
Some people like their roots a bit grown out, some like their ends open, some love the fluffy look and some want everything looking fresh all the time and that's absolutely fine
Your locs are your locs, and your loc journey is your own. Everyone's journey is different, so there's no point comparing yours to somebody else's.
Look at mine 😂 I've got grey coming through, fluffy bits, open ends and I'm pretty sure there's bits of lint very visible in there somewhere 🤣
Obviously as a loctician I'm going to advise you if I see something that needs attention. Healthy hair and scalp care will always come first, and I'll tell you if I'm concerned.
But there's a difference between locs that actually need looking after and locs that just don't fit somebody else's idea of what they should look like.
Honestly, sometimes I think people need to mind the business of the hair growing out of their own heads. 😂❤️
