🌺 A small gesture of thanks this Remembrance.

As Remembrance Day approaches, I’d like to give something back to those who have served.

I’m offering one veteran a complimentary course of 4 NADA acupuncture sessions as a small gesture of gratitude for their service.

I’d also like to extend this offer to other veterans by offering 50% off my usual
8-week NADA acupuncture package for bookings made during November — reducing the price from £395 to £197.50.

If you’re a veteran, or know someone who might appreciate this offer, please send me a private message. There’s no need to share personal circumstances publicly.

If more than one veteran comes forward for the complimentary course, one person will be selected at random.

Please feel free to share this post so it can reach someone who may appreciate it.

With gratitude to all who have served, and to their families.

Lest we forget 🌺

A Quiet Reflection 🌿

Have you ever apologised for falling asleep during a treatment, massage or relaxation session?

Please don’t. 😊

I once fell asleep during a beautiful sound bath at the beach, only to wake myself up with my own open-mouthed snoring. I was mortified! 😂

But falling asleep during something like acupuncture or a sound bath really isn’t unusual. When we spend so much of our time busy, alert and dealing with whatever life throws at us, being somewhere quiet, comfortable and without demands can make it easier to switch off. Sometimes, we’re simply tired. Sometimes, we finally get a chance to rest.

In my sessions, there’s no expectation to stay awake, make conversation or respond in any particular way. If you drift off, that’s absolutely fine. I keep an eye on how you’re doing throughout the session, and I’ll gently bring things to a close when it’s time.

You don’t need to apologise, feel embarrassed or worry about doing it ‘right’. There’s no performance involved.

And if that means a little snoring, you’re in good company. 😊🌿

💚 World Mental Health Day 💚

Sometimes life feels a little tangled.

Our thoughts race, stress builds, and we can find ourselves stuck in a constant state of doing, thinking and coping — with very little time to simply be.

Mental health isn’t just about getting through the difficult days. It’s also about recognising when we need support, giving ourselves permission to slow down, and finding little ways to care for ourselves along the way.

🌿 We don’t always have to untangle everything at once.

Sometimes, the first step is simply finding a little breathing space.

Today is a reminder to be kind to yourself and to those around you. You never know what someone else might be carrying beneath the surface.

And remember, you don’t have to navigate the tangled moments alone. 🤍

🌿 A little bit of space has opened up…

I’ve had the pleasure of welcoming some lovely new clients recently, and it’s been so rewarding to be part of their individual journeys.

As some of those sessions have now come to an end, a few spaces have opened up in my diary for new clients. 🤍

If you’ve been following along and have been curious about trying NADA, perhaps this is your little nudge to get in touch.

NADA is a gentle five-point auricular acupuncture protocol designed to support nervous system regulation and relaxation. You don’t need to have had acupuncture before, and I’ll talk you through everything before we begin.

If you’d like to find out more or would like to book one of the available spaces, send me a message — I’d love to hear from you. 🌿

New clients very welcome.

A little cup of calm…

When you come for a treatment with me, you’ll always be offered a cup of freshly brewed chamomile tea. ☕️

It’s a small part of the experience, but an important one.

Chamomile has traditionally been enjoyed for its calming and relaxing properties, and taking a few moments to sit with a warm cup of tea can be a lovely way to begin slowing down and settling into your treatment.

The NADA protocol is all about supporting the nervous system and creating a calmer state — so I wanted the whole experience to reflect that.

No rushing.
No pressure.
Just a warm cup of tea, a comfortable space and some time to pause. 🤍

Why can you be exhausted, but still struggle to sleep?

You know that feeling when your body is absolutely exhausted, but your brain just won’t switch off?

You’re tired. You want to sleep. But your thoughts are racing, you’re restless, or you wake in the night and suddenly feel wide awake.

Sometimes, this can be connected to a nervous system that is spending too much time in “alert” mode.

Our nervous system is constantly assessing whether we need to be alert, active and ready to respond — or whether it’s safe to slow down, rest and recover.

When we’re experiencing ongoing stress, overwhelm or simply too much stimulation for too long, our nervous system can become accustomed to staying on high alert.

And that doesn’t necessarily stop just because we get into bed.

Your body may be tired, but your nervous system hasn’t yet received the message that it’s time to rest.

This is where NADA auricular acupuncture can offer a different approach. 🌿

NADA is a specific five-point protocol using tiny needles placed at particular points in each ear.

The treatment is designed to support nervous system regulation and relaxation, helping the body move away from a heightened state and towards a calmer, more settled state.

It isn’t a sleeping pill, and it isn’t about forcing yourself to relax.

Instead, it’s about supporting the nervous system and creating the conditions for your body to move more easily from alertness towards rest.

And when the nervous system is better supported, sleep may become easier to access.

✨ So if you’re exhausted but still feel “switched on”, perhaps the question isn’t simply “How do I get more sleep?”

Perhaps it’s “What does my nervous system need in order to feel safe enough to rest?”

If you’d like to explore NADA for yourself, send me a message and I’d be happy to talk you through how it works and what to expect from a session. 🤍

Acupuncture for nervous system support 🌿

When most people hear the word acupuncture, they probably think of back pain, headaches or other physical aches and pains.

But you may not have heard about auricular acupuncture being used to support the nervous system.

So, what does that actually mean?

The NADA protocol uses five very small, sterile needles placed in specific points on the outer ear. These points are traditionally associated with systems involved in the body’s stress response and regulation.

The idea isn’t to “switch off” your nervous system or promise a particular outcome. Instead, NADA is used as a gentle, supportive practice that can encourage relaxation and help create a space for the body and mind to settle.

✨ A session is usually quiet and simple.
✨ You sit comfortably while the needles remain in place.
✨ There is no need to talk through your life story or explain everything you’re experiencing.
✨ Many people simply sit, breathe and have some quiet time.

And perhaps most importantly, you don’t need to know anything about acupuncture before trying it.

If you’ve been feeling stressed, overwhelmed, constantly “switched on”, or simply feel like your nervous system could use a little support, this may be something worth learning more about.

Curious about whether NADA could be right for you? Send me a message to ask any questions or find out about booking your first session 💛

We often spend so much energy trying to push through stress, overwhelm and exhaustion.

Sometimes what we need isn’t to do more.

Sometimes we simply need an opportunity to pause, rest and allow the nervous system to settle. 🌿
