refreshments included ,disability access, I have over 20 years of experience using the power of music for people with learning disabilities. I worked for a care company in Bolton 2003 and started a one hour music session . This session went on for 6 hours every Friday until 2011 and also reduced incidents & anxieties by 85% within the company. This was proved to be successful. In the January of 2012 a relative gave me a small loan to set a fun Music session up for Adults with learning disabilities. I am still going strong today. Music4confidence is an amazing fun session for adults with learning disabilities. This enables people with disabilities to express, create and enjoy fun music sessions .Our session are not only music but we also have games. We have the corn board challenge play your cards right ,bowling games, hoop games. we have a fun nostalgia quiz with a difference . We also have singing and dancing competitions and you get to win prizes. these are just some of the things we do. on site we have the fun suitcase with tambourines shakers and other hand held instruments. we have an electric drum kit and several guitars . we also have a 20 output microphone mixing desk where everyone can sing together. I also run a fun music sessions for care companies on Fridays for 2 hour sessions, if you are a care company and are interested then please get in touch. All this takes place at Plodder lane Conservative club in Farnworth every 2nd Tuesday .Our next session is on the 2nd of September 2026 then every Two weeks after up to December.
