Spaces are filling up for this very informative and enlightening ‘Menopause workshop‘.

Held on Saturday 13th November 2-4.30pm in Chryston church hall.

Lauren Chiren is an expert in perimenopause and menopause and will be joining me to educate and uncover the truths and survival tips to get you through this phase of life.

I will do a gentle yoga session with postures that are beneficial during these hormonal changes and to help with mood, energy and your mindset. We will have time for a cuppa and a nourishing treat while we chat.

Although the October retreats are fully booked I’m delighted to release dates for next year 1-3rd April 2022 ☺️

A weekend of well-being, restoration and balance for your body and mind…in the most beautiful of forest settings.

You can expect great nourishment from The Soup Dragon cafe, mindfulness, daily yoga, a reflexology workshop, a reiki or massage treatment and a 6 mile hike looking towards conic hill!

Drenched but back on the road bike early this morning. 🚴🏼‍♀️

I’m not finding it easy and after another fall at traffic lights 🙈🤪 I started to reflect on how this bike is reminding me of a few lessons in worry control.

1. Don’t think because something happens once it’s going to happen every time (for me at every junction). Think of how many times you manage to stop successfully without a fall 😁🤲🏼.
Lesson: Think of the positive experiences and not just the bad examples, and think proportionately how many more positive examples you may have to bring some perspective.

2. Get back up again after every fall and try again.
Lesson: it’s persistence and determination that will take you forward in life. NEVER GIVE UP 🙌🏼

3. Practise practise practise.
Lesson: we aren’t all equipped with same skills in life but through repetition and practise we can improve and get better. Think of some examples you’ve already overcame- driving a car, giving a presentation.

4. Avoidance will increase level of fear and anxiety.
Lesson: take small steps with support from friends and family to expose yourself to your fears, in a safe environment.

Non judgement and raise your own energy and vibration ☺️

I’m sharing my intro and thoughts I had before this mornings live yoga at 7am (on Absolute Wellness Online Yoga). If you’re trying to understand how to manage some of the negativity and conversations you might be having these days it might be a good idea to apply the yoga sutras and the practise of ‘ahimsa’ - not harming others with words and judgements 🙏🏽

I loved doing the ‘sleep recovery workshop’ on Friday… here’s a review from a couple that attended.

Sunday mornings are back!! I’ve always loved doing endurance training on Sunday mornings and after a great sleep decided to go for it today.

My new found confidence on the road bike led to a 25 mile cycle followed by a 3 mile run… my first brick session in over 6 years ☺️ and my heart rate was so much higher with the cycling. It just shows cross training is a great way to challenge the body and get fitness improvements.

I’m feeling so pleased 🚴🏼‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️ I’m really going to need my yoga this week! 🧘🏼‍♀️

I had two reiki sessions with Julie last week (which was a first for me) I wasn’t really sure what to expect but Julie was amazing so calming and really made me feel at ease. The sessions were so relaxing! They helped me sleep better & I had a lot more energy when I got up! I will definitely be going for more soon!
