I am not asking for a seat at the table anymore. I am building my own.
25 years growing other companies’ income. Coaching people to achieve more. Building a home and a life through plenty of adversity. Now, heading into my 50s, it’s my turn.
Ayurveda sees this next chapter through four lenses:
1️⃣ Rasayana: renewal. Your energy, body and spark back.
2️⃣ Vanaprastha: wisdom. Less noise, more meaning.
3️⃣ Svadharma: purpose. Something that’s truly yours.
4️⃣ Artha: prosperity. Earning on your own terms.
Which one are you right now?
Here’s the secret: you don’t have to choose. When body, mind and purpose are in balance, all four open up. Ayurveda calls this Svastha.
That’s why I created Svastha, my 6-week Ayurvedic programme for women ready for more. The founding cohort starts Saturday 27 February, with only 15 places.
💌 DM me SVASTHA for first access before it goes live on my website.

Ayurveda is the map. Spirituality is the reason to walk it.

Ayurveda was never just about food or herbs. It was always a spiritual science.Ayurveda is the map. Spirituality is the reason to walk it.

The ancient rishis didn’t separate the body from the soul. They saw health as harmony between what we eat, how we live, and who we truly are.

When you eat with awareness, that’s a practice.
When you rise with the sun, that’s a practice.
When you pause, breathe and listen to your body, that’s a practice.

This is how a life is built: not in big leaps, but in small, sacred daily rituals that bring you back to yourself.

Where in your day could you add a little more presence? 👇

What’s your autumn coffee order? ☕🍂
In Ayurveda, even your cravings tell a story. As the weather turns cold and windy, Vata rises in all of us, and what we reach for says a lot about where we are out of balance.
Swipe to find yours, then confess in the comments - I will reply with one simple swap for your dosha.
Curious about your dosha? Take the quiz on my website- dLAY Ayurveda, link in bio.

🍂 October on a plate: pumpkin, ginger, ghee, cumin, fennel, black pepper and red lentils

Everything you need to ground Vata season, right here. Sweet pumpkin to steady and nourish. Ghee to bring back the moisture autumn winds take away. Ginger, cumin, fennel and black pepper to keep agni (digestive fire) bright as the weather cools. And red lentils, the gentlest dal, easy to digest and deeply comforting.

Try this- Warm ghee, add cumin and fennel seeds until fragrant, then grated ginger and black pepper. Stir in cubed pumpkin and rinsed red lentils, cover with water, and simmer until soft. Add salt if required. A one-pot autumn dal that hugs you from the inside. Great for lunch or dinner 💕

Panchakarma Reflection

Nine days ago I walked into The Ayurveda Clinic in Purley, South Croydon for three days of Panchakarma. A week on, I wanted to share what actually happened, because it was not what I expected.

Day one — I felt amazing. Genuinely the best night’s sleep I have had in a long time.
Day two — this is where it got real. During Shirodhara, with warm oil poured over the third eye, something in my mind started to release. I can not fully explain it, years of anxiety, old memories, even colours and faces of people I didn’t recognise surfaced. Perhaps past-life experiences. Whatever it was, something let go.
Day three — my body was in pain. Every movement hurt, and I needed help off the table. It felt like I was releasing as much physically as I had mentally the day before.

A week on — clear mind, clear skin, and my digestion has not worked this well in years. Less bloating. But the most incredible part is this: I can see a clear path forward. A future that actually belongs to me, full of new opportunities.
Thank you to the incredible therapists, staff and my Ayurvedic doctor at for holding the space for this and for me. I am looking forward to continued treatment and change over the coming months.
This is Panchakarma. Not a spa treatment, a genuine reset, mind and body. If you have been running on empty for a while, this is what I would point you toward.

Chandra (moon) energy - (photo taken in Turkey on the way back from a night out with friends).

In Ayurveda, the moon is not just something we look at, it’s something we are made of. Chandra governs Kapha, the water and earth within us: our calm, our stillness, our capacity to rest and be nourished. A full moon like this is a quiet reminder to soften before the day speeds up.

Ayurveda teaches us the day should begin the way this photo feels, soft, unrushed, rooted, before the mind starts moving faster than the body.

How are you starting yours?

“Change is not the enemy of balance, it is how balance renews itself.”
Over the last 8 years, I have felt a big shift in who I am and where I want to go. And somewhere in that, I have relearned something: the journey we are on changes as we learn, as we grow, as we relate differently to why we see ourselves the way we do, how the world presses on us, and the bigger question; why we are really here.
In Ayurveda, growth is not a straight line, it’s a spiral. We circle back to the same lessons again and again, but each time from a little higher, a little wiser, a little more ourselves.
My journey with Ayurveda did not just arrive at the right time. It arrived at a time I was finally willing to let go of a lot.
The last few weeks have taught me the answer to that hard “why”: when you truly let go, you realise what all the fuss was about.
I feel reborn. And that did not just happen, I had to sit with myself, work through so much, and yet somehow, I feel lighter, younger, braver. Something roared in me, like a lion. Something different, and yet the same, from my soul.
Letting go is not about forgiving or forgetting. It’s about being with what has happened, knowing you will never live it again, because you will not allow yourself to. But mostly, it’s understanding that peace is not a destination. It’s a feeling within you.
You can find peace in loneliness and in busyness. Peace comes when you can sit in traffic, or on a packed tube, take a deep breath, close your eyes, and realise all is well.
So, I am at peace. But also, ready to show this world something new, as I roar on my new journey. 🌀🦁🌿.

Some seasons ask you to push. This one is asking you to listen.

We are moving through a new moon in Cancer, with Mercury still retrograde, a stretch better suited to reflection than launching, to reviewing than deciding. In Ayurveda this maps neatly onto apana vayu, the downward, grounding energy, and the idea of samskara, the old imprints that resurface so we can finally metabolise them, not just repeat them.

When I had my own Vedic chart read recently, this exact theme showed up in the placements. Rahu sitting right on my ascendant, the planet of reinvention, parked at the doorway of the self. A Moon in Jyeshtha, the nakshatra of the eldest, the one who’s carried things and is now being asked to lead from what she’s learned rather than what she’s proving. Astrology and Ayurveda were never separate systems, Jyotish was always meant to tell you when, and Ayurveda tells you how to meet it.

If you are been feeling pulled toward something unfamiliar lately, you are not imagining it. The sky’s just confirming what the body already knew.

This is the Science of Life, read two ways 🌙

A slow start to a hot day 🌸

Fennel seeds and rose petals, steeped and strained into something soft to sip. In Ayurveda, this is Pitta season, when the body runs hot and everything feels a little quickened. Rose cools and calms. Fennel settles the digestion and takes the edge off the heat.

Pour it into a bottle and carry it with you. Sip slowly through the day, the way you’d take a walk in the park, unhurried, grounding, no rush to get anywhere.

This is the Science of Life, one small ritual at a time 🌿

Annapurna, means the goddess of food & nourishment, Rasa, means essence, taste or emotion.
In my family, recipes were never written down in books. They were passed hand to hand, in the kitchen, on whatever paper was near. No measurements, just knowing.
This book is my way of carrying that forward, a seasonal Ayurvedic cookbook for hormone balance, for women and men. I went looking for a book like this before I started writing it, and never found one. So I’m writing it myself.
It’s now on its fourth draft, still being written, still being tested, still being lived in my own kitchen. Because when something is made with love, passion and creativity, that’s when it’s ready to be handed to the world.
This isn’t just a cookbook for your kitchen. It’s a way to bring communities alive again, sharing recipes, sharing food, and mostly, sharing love. None of it should be expensive or unreachable for anyone.
First proof of the title page. Still being written. More to come, join my newsletter to follow along, link in bio.
