Pro-Iron Liquid Effect or Pro-Iron Liquid ActioN? The right choice depends on what you want to achieve.

Pro-Iron Liquid Effect only contains iron, giving turf managers flexibility to tailor their applications without changing nitrogen inputs. It can also be incorporated into existing spray and ITM programmes.

Pro-Iron Liquid ActioN combines nitrogen with iron, making it suited to situations where the objective is to support healthy growth and improve turf colour in a single application.

Our latest article explains the differences and the management objectives each product is designed to support.

Iron is widely used in professional turf management, but what does it actually do?

Its role extends beyond the colour response commonly associated with an iron application.

Understanding how iron behaves and the role it can play in turf management can help turf professionals make more informed decisions about its use within wider nutrition and agronomic programmes.

Knowledge sharing remains an important part of supporting the future of the turf industry.

Earlier this week, Area Sales Manager Martyn Parrish presented at a BCA College training day held at Frilford Heath Golf Club, attended by approximately 30 students.

Martyn's session focused on Microdochium Patch disease, covering factors that contribute to disease development and considerations for identification and management during a key period of the year for turf professionals.

Training days such as these provide valuable opportunities for students to connect classroom learning with practical industry knowledge and current challenges faced by turf managers.

Thank you to BCA College and Frilford Heath Golf Club for hosting the event.

Autumn is a key period for reviewing disease management strategies as cooler temperatures, higher moisture levels and reduced drying conditions can increase disease pressure on managed turf surfaces.

AIM brings together three Syngenta Turf UK and Ireland fungicides, Ascernity, Instrata Elite and Medallion TL, in a single pack designed to provide a sequential disease control programme from summer through to winter.

AIM enables turf managers to adapt applications to seasonal conditions while maintaining a robust, year round disease management strategy.
