I’ve had a lot of enquiries recently about filler dissolving. Reasons to dissolve include: migration of the filler, being over filled or just wanting to go back to basics.

Dissolving any filler is a procedure we must do with care.

First of all the product we use is a prescribed medicine therefore we MUST obtain medical history including allergies before dissolving. (Which any medical professional will do anyway)

Then we perform a patch test - this is to make sure there is no allergy and to reduce the chance of any unwanted reactions.

The procedure is then carried out.

The dissolvent dissolves hyaluronic acid (HA)which most filler are made of, however it does not differentiate between filler HA and natural HA. This means that sometimes it can cause the area to go really flat (usually lips). The body replenishes the natural HA is a few days meaning they will plump back out 😅

We always give a 2-3 week window between any dissolving and refilling.

More and more people are opting for natural, not obvious treatments. Some are dissolving and not refilling 😊

I decided a few months ago that I was upping my skin treatment regime. To date I’ve had :
Microneedling with exosomes x 3
Polynucleotides x 1 to eye area (further 2 sessions planned)

Skin booster x 1 (further 2 sessions planned)

Micro needling remains my no 1 choice for skin improvement, whether it’s anti ageing, scarring or pigmentation, it’s the one treatment that improves it all.

I can definitely see an improvement in the texture and brightness of my skin. It’s more evenly toned, hydrated with less fine lines evident 🙌

I am trialling a different polynucleotide, as always I’ll give the honest truth regarding results 😊
