IT'S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN! Our Christmas Grotto is back at the Joseph Lappin Centre, and we know lots of you have been waiting for this one!

TICKETS GO ON SALE MONDAY 2ND NOVEMBER AT 10AM!

PLEASE NOTE: Tickets are NOT on sale before 10am on Monday. Bookings will only be taken from that time.

Friday 11th December | 3pm–5.30pm
£3.50 per child | £1 per adult

Whether you've had a great experience with local health services, faced difficulties getting the support you need, or simply want some advice about where to turn, Healthwatch is here to listen.

What an experience for our Pod Squad!

A massive thank you to everyone at The Anfield Wrap for welcoming our young people into the studio. From planning and appearing on their own podcast to live video editing and learning how the cameras work, they came back absolutely buzzing!

Pod Squad is our 15-week programme supporting young people aged 18–25 who are not currently in work, education or training to build confidence, develop new skills and explore opportunities through podcasting and creative media.

And a huge well done to our brilliant participants for getting stuck in, trying something completely new and stepping outside their comfort zones. You absolutely smashed it!

Huge thanks again to The Anfield Wrap for such a fantastic opportunity.

What a brilliant start for our new Shared Plates, Shared Stories group!

For our first session we cooked three perfect rainy-day dishes: Chakalaka, a warming South African vegetable dish full of spice and flavour; Chipotle Beef Chilli, smoky, rich and with a little kick; and, of course, our Liverpool classic Scouse!

A massive thank you to our participants, especially Martha, Janet and Cath, who shared their own takes on these delicious dishes.

It was lovely seeing a brand-new group beginning to cook, chat and get to know each other.

Huge thanks too to former participants Razia and Chris for coming back to volunteer, to Julie for keeping everything running in the kitchen, and to Michelle from Bay Tree Caterers Liverpool & Bay Tree Cookery Academy CIC for facilitating the group and adding her professional chef flourish.

A delicious start! Keep your eyes out for news of our community meal where the women will cook for 40 guests.

We’ve reached 25% of our Christmas Appeal target!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has donated so far – every single donation is helping us get closer to our goal.

Our appeal will provide Christmas Eve boxes filled with cosy pyjamas and festive treats for local children, as well as Christmas food hampers for families in our community who are struggling this year.

A huge thank you to our lovely Tai Chi group for braving the hailstones to join us today!

Our friendly Tai Chi sessions are a wonderful way to slow down, move your body and take a little time for yourself.

Tai Chi can help with:

And it’s a lovely way to meet people too!
