Spent your younger years wishing your face was less round? You might appreciate that fullness differently as you get older 👀

Nigella Lawson is a lovely example of a rounded oval face, with soft contours and fullness through the cheeks.

That’s what I’m exploring in this reel: how facial shape and volume can influence the changes we notice with age.

It doesn’t mean rounder faces won’t age, or that we can predict someone’s future from a photograph. Genetics, skin quality, sun exposure and lifestyle all play a part.

But it’s a reminder to appreciate the features you’ve always been tempted to change. The goal doesn’t always need to be a slimmer, sharper face.

Want your skin looking better by Christmas? Now’s the time to start 👀

If a friend asked me how to choose a clinic, this is exactly what I'd tell them.

Not the cheapest. Not the one with the most followers. The one where you feel properly looked after from the first message to the follow up weeks later.

Read the reviews, not just the stars. Know who's holding the needle. Look for results on people like you. Never feel rushed into saying yes. And know who you're calling if something doesn't feel right afterwards.

Would you trust an injector who agreed to every treatment you asked for?

A good consultation should leave you informed, even if the recommendation isn’t what you expected.

Sometimes that means discussing a different approach. Sometimes it means waiting. And sometimes it means explaining why I wouldn’t recommend treatment at all.

You deserve to understand what a treatment could achieve, its limitations and whether it suits your individual features.

Those striking cheekbones? They’re the hallmark of a diamond face shape. 💎

Zendaya is a beautiful example, with width through the cheekbones, a narrower forehead and a delicate, tapered chin.

That structure creates natural definition, but it doesn’t mean every diamond-shaped face will age in the same way. Changes in facial volume and skin quality can alter how prominent the cheekbones look and how light falls beneath the eyes.

The key takeaway? Your face shape offers clues, but it isn’t a prediction. Genetics, sun exposure and lifestyle all help shape the changes you see.

Recognising your own features is far more useful than comparing your face to somebody else’s.
