I finally get a quiet week.

And obviously feel a little guilty for needing it.

There are no events to deliver this week. The children are away. I have a nice bit of space to get to all the things done (that I keep saying I’ll do when I have time).

And today I feel really ill. There is just nothing in the tank. I feel like I’ve gone down like a sack of spuds.

My body wants some serious rest.
My head keeps telling me….’But this was your chance to get all of the things done!’.

I’m feeling torn, frustrated and trying to negotiate with myself. As…if I was my own client…I know exactly what I would suggest to her!

Perhaps you know this feeling. You know what’s good for you & what you need, but you just keep trying to push on because of expectations (that come from self!).

It’s like, you finally get a little breathing room… & immediately start working out how much you could fit into it…instead of breeeathing 🧘🏼‍♀️

Even rest becomes something you’re ‘trying’ to do.

I’m sharing this because I don’t create Higher Frequency Live evenings from the other side of having it all figured out.

I really do know what it’s like to lie down & mentally stay standing/on guard/not fully letting go of the to-dos.

To be the one telling everyone else to take it easy, while really expecting more of myself…this is why I’m torn & frustrated with myself!

Anyway…this is part of why I care so much about the welcome at Higher Frequency Live. I know that you’re exactly like me. I know what helps, I really do.

You don’t have to convince me you’ve had a busy enough week.

You don’t need to arrive cheerful.
Or bring someone with you.
Or know how to switch off.

At Stoke Minster on Wednesday 4.11.26, I’ll be there to welcome you into an evening of candlelight, live sound, music meditation and guided deep relaxation. No distractions. No expectations. Just space for you to renew properly.

With the theme…I don’t know how to say much more.

My online voice is having a blip.
My voice while holding space for people needing rest though…that’s where it’s at its most alive!

Will my online presence ever return? I don’t know but right now I’m happy being present with my loved ones and hosting amazing events.

Blankets carried in.

Some arriving together. Others coming solo.

All with permission to do absolutely NOTHING for a change.

Watching you fill that beautiful church meant so much to me.
