After a stormy night and the clocks going back, today feels like the perfect excuse to slow things down a little. ☕🌧️

I’m having a day at home today, and sometimes that’s exactly what we need.

No rushing about, no big plans… just a little time to recharge and enjoy a slower pace.

We spend so much of our time looking after everyone else that we can forget how important it is to look after ourselves, too. 💕

So today, I’m giving myself permission to slow down, and I’m reminding you to do the same.

🌸 SELF-CARE SUNDAY 🌸

Are you as kind to yourself as you are to everyone else? 💗

This is something I think many of us can relate to.

We encourage other people, tell them they’re doing great, remind them of their worth and pick them up when they’re feeling down.

But when it comes to ourselves… why can we be so hard on ourselves?

We focus on what we haven’t done, what we don’t like about ourselves, what we should be doing better or how we think we should look.

Sometimes we can be our own worst critics. ❤️

I’m learning that self-care isn’t just about taking a relaxing bath, doing your skincare or having some time to yourself.

It’s also about how you speak to yourself.

It’s about giving yourself the same patience, understanding and kindness that you give to the people you love.

You don’t have to have everything figured out.

You don’t have to look a certain way.

And you don’t have to be perfect to be worthy of love and kindness — especially your own. ✨

So this week, I’m going to try to be a little kinder to myself, and I hope you’ll try too.

🌸 SELF-CARE SUNDAY 🌸

Are you actually making time for yourself?

I think this is one I’m definitely guilty of.

There always seems to be something that needs done… work, family, housework, appointments, messages, shopping… the list goes on.

And sometimes I realise that I’ve put myself right at the bottom of that list.

But the thing is, we can’t keep pouring from an empty cup. 💗

Making time for yourself doesn’t have to mean taking hours out of your day.

It might be sitting with a cup of tea without doing anything else. ☕️

Going for a walk.

Having a bath.

Doing your skincare.

Reading a few pages of a book.

Getting your nails done.

Or simply sitting quietly for 10 minutes and taking a breath.

This week, I’m going to try to be a little more intentional about making time for me.

Not because everything else is less important…

But because I’m important too. 🌸

And so are you. 💗
