If a book doesn’t make the bestseller’s list straight away, it’s not really given a chance - the same goes for any race, I suppose?

And whilst I’m a touch ‘over’ the lists for many reasons (it’s a long story but it doesn’t favour the little guys or help new authors), I do feel I need to shout about this book as I have all the others so she has a good life.

It’s what we do with our babies after all, isn’t it!

Imagine this possibility for your coming 12 months, and notice what your response is: “In the next 12 months, you are going to bring a level of joy and aliveness into your life in a way that you have never before experienced.”

There is no right or wrong way to respond. If hearing that made you recoil, feel uncomfortable, or bring up doubt or suspicion, just notice. It's good to notice how the body responds because the body is the vehicle that has to let it in. You might have been pleasantly surprised by how open you felt to that idea, or you might even have been ready to start the party right now!

It's important to notice what your capacity is because the worst thing you can do is try and force yourself to move too fast. If you did notice a little resistance, make a note, and as you go through the next 12 months, create a little more joy and a little more aliveness in your life.

I have to be honest. I could do with your moral support. It’s never failed me yet…

Following a blissful summer at home with my beautiful boys it’s now time for me to face the next chapter and leave my comfort zone.

The launch of a new book is a tough time for us authors. Pressure is on.

And I’m with a new publisher. I moved to Hay House in honour of my beloved Louise Hay, to whom I credit my light-seeking demeanour and healthy self-worth after years and years of chaos. She saved my life many times and so it felt like coming home.

But with the move comes change, and change is a challenge, as we all know.

The biggest change is me travelling to Los Angeles this weekend to speak at Louise’s 100th birthday celebration. I can hardly believe it. (You can watch online, I’ll share soon)

I’ve grown my brave well the last few years but this is a level above. And all my buttons are being pushed.

It’s three weeks until my book comes out and I am slightly overwhelmed with so many thoughts. I can’t wait to meet everyone on my tour - my favourite part - but putting it all together alongside trying to think of ways to promote the book is tiring.

So I’m just going to ask… if you like my work and think you’ll like this book, please do pre-order. Pre-orders make or break a new book and I truly didn’t know this until I became an author.

And rather than try to tempt you, I’d rather just be transparent.
