After👉🏻before👉🏻after 🤩 had the best day giving Rachel’s tattoo some much needed TLC, adding some extra florals and ferns and of course a lil bee!

I’ve been really enjoying realistic and colourful tattoos lately and would love to do more! 💜

Scar coverup project 🌸 two days with my lovely client this week covering upper arm scarring with some watercolour florals! Waited a good year or so for the scarring to settle and heal first, and it covered over nicely! So pleased with this ☺️☺️

Honest post alert 🥹 (and a little album of tattoos I’ve done over the last few years!)

Feeling reflective after my recent hospital stint and wanted to share some thoughts really… things feel really weird in the industry at the moment. People aren’t seeing my posts and stories, twice I’ve been asked if I’m even still tattooing 😔 social media has changed, I’ve gone from being 5 months booked out to currently only having a couple of weeks. I carry a lot of guilt for not being the best with my emails and admin, I know there’s always more I could do or see other people doing. Being neurodivergent means I struggle a lot with different things too. It’s all a bit scary and things just feel a bit up in the air 🥺 tattooing has always been my companion throughout life and I honestly don’t know what I’d do without it. Its tough feeling like I’m battling against social media now - the platform that’s run side by side with my business from the beginning. I don’t know whether it’s the same with other studios or just me 😂

I’m not sure how best to approach all this really but I’ll do it as always in my authentic and slightly too open book way 😂 I’ll make some posts, share some feelings about the industry and the business as a whole and hope it connects to people in some way! Try and get better with my admin, maybe draw up some flash if my brain lets me 😅💜 I love tattooing, I love you guys, I hope I can still do this for many years to come. Lots and lots of love , Jess 💜
