Anyone else thinking about what new hobby to try for the new year?

We are proud to annouce are new community group at Abbey Manor with the collaboration of Daria Kot - Reconnect with Nature

Sign up day is Sunday 14th March 2027 for our community gardening club at Abbey Manor.

For an annual fee of £60, you will get the following included:

- Tools included.
- As part of the membership, included is monthly herbal classes with Daria talking about the historical uses by the monks of Buildwas Abbey.
- Membership includes a membership card which allows access to the Abbey Manor grounds at all times.
- Membership also includes free entrance to any public events being held at Abbey Manor - this does not include events being held by third party organizers.
- Access to a gardening area to plant whatever you desire!

We are so looking forward to this new community group going forward! We want to wish a huge thank you to Daria for seeing our vision and helping us create something that will be amazing for the community to be able to access.

Thank you to everyone who attended our Mushroom Wisdom Walk today! I hope you all had a great time, even though we didn’t find as many mushrooms as I hoped. I’m glad Plan B worked and that you enjoyed seeing the mushrooms we brought with us.
I’m looking forward to seeing your photos of mushrooms you find yourselves — hopefully you’ll feel more confident identifying medicinal and edible ones.
