I think we all have a part of the day that tends to go off the rails. 😂

Mine might be different from yours, but once you know where it usually happens, it’s a whole lot easier to do something about it.

So I’m curious…

If you only have 15 minutes to work out, USE the 15 minutes.

You do not need to turn it into an hour for it to be worth doing.

This circuit gives you a little cardio plus strength work for your upper body, lower body, and core…

and you can adjust the exercises or pace to fit your level.

Warm up, set a timer for 15 minutes, and work through the list.

No need to race through it. Take a quick break when you need one, keep your form solid, and then keep going.

Done is done. 🙌

📌 Save this one for the next day you almost skip your workout because you’re short on time.

Half the battle is just NOT having to think about it!

If I already know when I’m working out, what we’re eating, and what time I’m shutting things down for the night…

there’s a LOT less room for “I’ll do it tomorrow.”

That’s one of the biggest things I’ve learned about routines:

The more you can decide when you have energy, the less you have to rely on willpower when you don’t.

Pick a few things this week and make the decision once.

What’s one thing you could decide ahead of time today to make the rest of your week easier? 👇

I get asked about breakfast ALL the time.

“I know I need more protein… but I am not cooking a whole breakfast at 7 AM.” 😂

Totally fair.

One of my easiest go-tos is overnight oats with protein powder.

I’ll mix ½ cup oats with milk the night before, then add protein powder with berries or grated apple, cinnamon, almond butter, flaxseed… whatever sounds good.

I usually want my women over 40 getting around 25g of protein at breakfast.

It helps make breakfast more filling and gives you a really solid start on your protein for the day.

And most importantly… it does NOT require standing over a stove first thing in the morning!

P.S I will often heat this up on a cold morning!

A few things I’ve stopped doing this atumn because I was making myself tired for no good reason 😂

Mostly trying to fill every spare second with something.

Checking my phone. Answering something. Listening to something. Getting one more thing done.

I’ve been leaving a little more space in my day instead.

Small pockets where I’m not doing anything “useful.”

And I like it.

What’s one thing you can stop doing this week that’ll help you slow down a little? 👇

Pumpkin + cottage cheese? I know it sounds strange, but this bowl is surprisingly delicious and it only takes about two minutes to make!

🎃 Pumpkin Cottage Cheese Bowl 🎃
(serves 1)

1 cup (225 g) cottage cheese
¼ cup (60 g) canned pure pumpkin (or use cooked squash and blend)
½ tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp vanilla extract
1-2 tsp maple syrup or honey to taste
Optional toppings: granola, chopped pecans or walnuts

Stir everything together until smooth. Top with whatever sounds good and enjoy immediately.

It's high in protein, naturally sweet, and tastes like a treat!

💪 Save this post because you know you’re going to want to try it!

In this week's Far 2 Fabulous podcast, Catherine and I explore the often-overlooked link between menopause and pain, why women's symptoms are so frequently dismissed, and how hormones, inflammation and the mind-body connection all play a part.

When the days get shorter, schedules get fuller, and then the festive season kicks in...

You’ve GOT to have a back-up plan for your goals…

Because days can get thrown out of wack, fast.

Here’s what that looks like:

✔ A few quick, go-to breakfasts
✔ A 20 min HIIT workout
✔ Protein with meals (no matter what)

Nothing fancy, just simple, go-to’s in case life throws you off track.

Backup plans help eliminate decision fatigue. Use them to your advantage.

💚 7 days, some amazing results, and a reminder of just how powerful a little support can be!

A fantastic group of woman have completed the 7-Day Reset, and I've been reading through some wonderful feedback.

We've had women reporting:

🌿 Weight loss
🌿 Fewer cravings and less snacking
🌿 More awareness of their eating habits
🌿 A completely different relationship with alcohol
🌿 A renewed motivation to prioritise their health

But one of the things that really stood out to me was a comment about the power of doing something like this together, as a group.

And I couldn't agree more!

There's something incredibly motivating about sharing the experience, trying new recipes, encouraging one another and knowing you're not doing it alone.

Another thing I loved was the feedback about our daily teaching sessions.

Because this Reset was never just about following a meal plan.

I wanted women to understand WHY their bodies are changing during perimenopause, menopause and beyond.

Why blood sugar matters. Why muscle is so important. How our gut microbiome influences our health. Why sleep and stress can affect everything from energy to appetite.

And, most importantly, why the answer isn't to eat less and exercise more.

It was about nourishing our bodies, understanding what's happening and learning how to work WITH our changing hormones rather than constantly fighting against them.

The fact that women have come away not just feeling better, but understanding their bodies better, is what makes me happiest.

And while seven days is only the beginning, it's amazing what can happen when you give yourself the time, knowledge and support to make a few changes.

A huge thank you to all the lovely women who joined me. I absolutely loved teaching the group and seeing everyone support one another. 💚

On days like today, I definitely start wanting different food.

More soups, pasta, chili, baked potatoes… basically all the warm stuff I haven’t wanted in months.

I LOVE IT. And I find ways to make it all healthier…

If I’m making pasta, I’ll add chicken and throw in a load of vegetables.

If I’m having chili, I’ll make sure there’s plenty of protein and beans in it.

If dinner is soup, I’ll add something that makes it more filling (like sweet potatoes) so I’m not hunting for snacks an hour later.

Nothing fancy. Still comfort food… still delicious!
