These beautiful, multicoloured leaves have fallen in my garden, and when my husband was about to clear them away yesterday, I asked him to leave them.
Because sometimes, we don’t need to tidy everything up. We don’t need to clear away every sign of change or make everything neat and orderly. Sometimes, we just need to let nature do its thing. 🍁

These leaves have served their purpose, and now they need to return to the Earth, to break down, nourish the soil and become part of something new. There’s something quite beautiful about that, isn’t there? A reminder that not everything needs our human intervention. Sometimes, we just need to step back and allow nature to be nature.

So, as I look at these leaves lying quietly in my garden, I’m reminded that there is beauty in letting go, wisdom in allowing things to follow their natural cycle, and comfort in knowing that endings are often just another part of becoming.

Perhaps there is a lesson in the leaves I wonder how much of life we spend trying to clear away, fix or control things that simply need the space and time to become something else? 🍂🍁
