Ever wondered what comes after medical school for those pursuing surgery?

Join UCC SurgSoc x NIMSA as we welcome back two UCC alumni who are now training in surgery:

• Christine: PGY1 Orthopaedic Surgery, University of Toronto
• Samantha: PGY2 General Surgery, UC Davis

They’ll be sharing their journeys from UCC to surgical residency, giving an inside look at life as a surgical trainee and discussing everything from building your CV and gaining experience as a medical student to choosing a specialty, managing the workload and navigating work-life balance.

There’ll also be a Q&A at the end, so bring along any questions you’ve always wanted to ask a surgical resident! 👀
