A huge thank you to the wonderful children of Castlebridge National School for joining us for their annual Halloween parade! 🧙‍♀️🕸️

Our residents loved seeing all the fantastic costumes and listening to the children sing their lovely songs. ❤️ It’s always such a special visit, filled with laughter, smiles and a little Halloween magic! 🎃✨

Thank you to all the children and teachers for making such beautiful memories with us. We can’t wait to see you all again next year! 🧡🖤

🌼🐝 Celebrating Our Second Annual Daisy Awards & Introducing Our Bee Awards! 🐝🌼

What a fabulous day of celebration, appreciation and recognition we had! 💛

We were delighted to celebrate our second Daisy Awards, recognising the wonderful individuals who go above and beyond in making a difference every day. This year, we were also thrilled to introduce our new Bee Awards, giving us even more opportunities to recognise and celebrate the amazing people who make our nursing home such a special place. 🌼🐝

A huge congratulations to our Daisy Awards winner, Ashbi, and our two wonderful honourees! 🏆🌼 And a massive well done to all our Bee Award winners — so very well deserved! 👏💛

A special thank you to Mayor of Wexford, Cllr Vicky Barron, for joining us and making the day extra special. We would also like to thank our fantastic kitchen team for all their hard work, Mick for keeping us entertained with wonderful music 🎶, and everyone who helped organise and make the day such a success.

Most importantly, a heartfelt thank you to all our incredible staff for the amazing work you do every single day. Your kindness, compassion, dedication and hard work make such a difference to our residents and their families. You are all truly fantastic, and we are so lucky to have such a wonderful team! ❤️

🐴💜 We had some very special visitors! 💜🐴

On Friday 18th, we were delighted to welcome the wonderful ponies from Little Steps Big Strides to our nursing home. 🥰

There were plenty of smiles, gentle cuddles and lots of happy moments as our residents enjoyed spending time with these beautiful little visitors. 🐴🌸

A huge thank you to Little Steps Big Strides for bringing so much joy, warmth and happiness to our residents. 💕✨

On the 21st of September, we came together to celebrate Alzheimer’s Awareness Day with lots of smiles, sweet treats and beautiful music! 🎂🎶

A big thank you to Mick for entertaining us with some wonderful live music. ❤️ There was cake, laughter and plenty of happy moments shared together. 🥰

☀️🍔 ANNUAL BBQ DAY! 🍔☀️

After all the wet weather we’ve been having lately, we were so fortunate to be blessed with a wonderful day full of sunshine for our Annual BBQ! 🌞💛
It was a fantastic day filled with amazing food, lots of laughter and great memories, shared with our wonderful residents, their families and our fantastic staff. 🥰

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing kitchen staff for preparing such a delicious BBQ and all the wonderful food — it was absolutely enjoyed by everyone! 👏🍗🥗🍰

Most importantly, it was lovely to see our residents enjoying the sunshine and spending quality time with their loved ones and the staff who care for them. ❤️
Here’s to another fantastic BBQ and many more happy memories together! 🌞🎉

🇮🇪💚 Nursing Home Week Ireland – Day 4 💚🇮🇪

What a truly wonderful Day 4 of Nursing Home Week we had! 🌿✨

Our Thursday morning began with a beautiful Mass, prayers and Communion, led by our Lay/Eucharistic Minister, Margaret. It was lovely to see a full house as residents came together for a peaceful and meaningful morning of prayer, reflection and community. 🙏⛪️

Then, in the afternoon, we were delighted to welcome the wonderful Nora Valley Petting Farm! 🐐🐰🐹🐥

Our residents had the most amazing time meeting and gently petting some very special little visitors, including adorable baby goats, fluffy bunnies, guinea pigs and tiny baby chicks. ❤️

There were lots of smiles, laughter and beautiful moments shared as our residents connected with nature and enjoyed the simple happiness that these little animals brought to our home. 🥰🌱

Nursing Home Week is all about celebrating the people who make our nursing homes such special places — our residents, families, staff, volunteers and wider community. 💚

Day 4 was a wonderful reminder that life is about connection, friendship, meaningful experiences and making memories together. Living life in full Bloom. And connecting with nature in the comfort of our home.

A huge thank you to Margaret for our lovely morning service and to Nora Valley Petting Farm for bringing so much joy to our residents. 🐐🐥❤️
