Lieve mama,
Bedankt dat je mij het leven hebt gegeven.
Dat ik besta, omdat jij er was.
Er bloeit een bloem in mijn hart.
De wortels zullen voor altijd verbonden zijn met jou.
Dank je wel voor alle mooie momenten,
voor je liefde, je voeding, je verzorging
en voor alle lessen die je mij hebt gegeven.
Jouw lichaam mag nu rusten in de aarde,
maar jouw liefde en wijsheid leven in mij voort.
In de circle of life heb je mij nog één laatste cadeau gegeven:
dat ik de man ben geworden die ik nu ben.
Mama, je bent vrij.
En misschien ben je nu wel dichter bij mij
dan je ooit bent geweest.
“Volg je dromen, ze weten de weg.”
Dank je, mama.
Ik ben ze aan het volgen.
Ik heb er een guardian angel bij ✨

For the fact that I exist because you were here.

for your love, your nourishment, your care,
and for all the lessons you have given me.
Your body may now rest in the earth,
but your love and wisdom will continue to live within me.
In the circle of life, you gave me one final gift:
you helped shape me into the man I am today.
Mom, you are free.
And maybe now you are even closer to me
than you have ever been before.
