A few people have asked me about the Dream Sleep Official pillow and why the shape might look familiar, so I wanted to share the story behind it.
Dream Sleep and necks best thing use the same patented contoured design from the same supplier. I worked with the supplier for months, testing foam samples until I found the softer feel I wanted for Dream Sleep.

I know pillows are personal and it’s helpful to have options. My aim isn’t to say one pillow is right for everyone but to be clear about what makes Dream Sleep different, so you can decide what feels right for you.

The shape was never the tricky part. Getting the feel right took months. I wanted Dream Sleep to feel softer than the standard foam sample, but still hold its contour under the weight of your head. Side sleepers, have you ever actually thought about the space your shoulder creates between your head and the mattress?

I hadn’t. Not properly anyway, until shoulder surgery made me VERY aware of how I was sleeping.

Where my shoulder sat. Where my head sat. What felt supported. What definitely didn’t.

And it made me think about something we probably don’t give much thought to when choosing a pillow. When you sleep on your side, your shoulder creates a gap between your head and the mattress, and your pillow needs to comfortably support that space.

It’s one of the reasons pillow height, shape and support matter. The goal is to support your head and neck comfortably and help maintain a more neutral sleeping position, without feeling like you’re sleeping on a rock.

It’s also a big part of what I care about with the Dream Sleep Official orthopaedic cervical pillow. Support, yes. But comfort matters too.
