At Manawa Ora we welcome people from across Aotearoa and sometimes travellers from other countries! What a pleasure meeting Swathi Ramesh and her mother from Washington yesterday; even though they were only in Wellington for a couple of days they were both keen to experience mirimiri and romiromi. Swathi is about to begin her studies in medicine next year in Mexico and we wish her all the best!

Jules Pereira is of Tokelauan descent and our longest-serving Kaimirimiri at Manawa Ora. Jules originally trained as a massage therapist before one day (a few years ago now!) attending a Kāpiti workshop and discovering mirimiri and romiromi :-) Her quiet presence, experience, listening ear and compassion for all people, including our Pasifika community, is appreciated by many ❤ Fakafetai lahi lele!

Roland Schaap is one of our senior practitioners at Manawa Ora; born and raised in the Netherlands, with Dutch and Belgium ancestry. Roland has called Aotearoa his home for the last 13 years. He comes from a career working as a scientist! Roland is a senior practitioner (kaimiri) at Manawa Ora, he is also a yoga teacher and a student of many different embodiment practices. He loves being a part of our team supporting wellbeing for whānau and community.
