🎓 EADV 2026 | Vienna – Sharing Clinical Experience

Proud to share my MEDtalk interview with BestPractice Nordic, recorded during the EADV Congress 2026 in Vienna.

In this interview, I present a challenging case of chronic, recurrent, and treatment-resistant folliculitis, followed over several years.

Despite identifying Demodex and Malassezia as contributing factors and providing targeted treatments, the condition continued to recur.

This case highlights the importance of thorough clinical assessment, differential diagnosis, and individualized treatment strategies in complex dermatological conditions.

It was a pleasure to contribute to the international exchange of clinical knowledge and experience.

✨ UPPER & LOWER BLEPHAROPLASTY | BEFORE & AFTER ✨

A remarkable transformation with a natural, refreshed result.

Even at a relatively young age, excess skin around the upper eyelids and prominent under-eye bags can create a tired or heavy appearance.

In this case, our patient presented with upper eyelid hooding (dermatochalasis) and pronounced lower eyelid puffiness caused by excess skin and protruding orbital fat.

🔹 The procedure: A comprehensive upper and lower blepharoplasty, carefully addressing both the skin and the underlying fat compartments.

🔹 The challenge: Achieving significant correction while preserving the patient’s natural eye shape, facial expression and masculine features.

🔹 The result: A fresher, more rested and rejuvenated appearance — without looking overdone or surgically altered.

Although this was a relatively extensive surgical procedure involving both upper and lower eyelids, the outcome demonstrates how precise surgical techniques and careful tissue management can deliver a beautifully balanced, natural result.

EADV Vienna 2026 🇦🇹

Five inspiring days in beautiful Vienna, together with around 20,000 dermatologists and healthcare professionals from all over the world.

So much new knowledge in dermatology — from systemic treatments and inflammatory skin diseases to skin cancer, new technologies and future treatment options.

We also had time to enjoy Vienna’s history, culture and music, meet colleagues from different countries, attend a wonderful symphony concert and spend a great Swedish evening together.

Two dermatologists from Doctor RY Skin Clinic attended this year, and we are now back home with new knowledge, new ideas and renewed inspiration — ready to bring the latest developments in dermatology to our patients.
