Last night after work, we had fun last night making eyeball pumpkins. We saw downtown come alive with people walking around, going to dinner. We saw bats fly out of the Carlton at dusk and spooky noises coming from the Haunt. It was a beautiful evening! Come check out our pumpkin eyes tonight at the downtown Atown Halloween block party, 4-7, we’ll be passing out silly specs and candy, of course! Normal shop hours from 12-5 for all your spectacled needs!

Little bubbles of goodness.

Until now we’ve had to show you pictures of what we had in mind for your tint color, or show you something similar we had saved from demo lenses to help you imagine how your specs might look tinted. Now we have these beautiful samples from our lab and they are just so pretty! It still requires a bit of imagination but we appreciate you trusting our vision! Our favorite thing to do is a light indoor tint with Transitions when you walk outside. It’s such a fun combination.

I’ve tried for 5 years to get tint samples and Nichole asked, Savannah called the lab rep, and it happened. This team: thank you! Sometimes I think I’m too swamped to actually complete a task beyond what I know is most important to me, YOU, so I’m so happy to spread the spectacle love with a team. 🥰♥️😍

Got plans for Halloween eve? Come downtown! Downtown businesses have been working hard to plan a fun event and Tessa, Savannah & I can’t wait to see you all dressed up! We’ll be handing out cheesy Halloween specs, eye masks for the tired mamas, and of course, CANDY! Saturday, 10/31, 4-7pm. Follow the map downtown!

Halloween is a new thing to me as an adult and I had so much fun looking at all the memories we’ve made in just a few years. Downtown Atown is a huge part of it. We hope to see you!!! 🎃

Thanks to all who came to the party Friday! It was the perfect amount of steady and not too crazy so I could actually talk to people!

Ahlem sparkled like jewelry in the candlelight & scattered sunshine, and our newest collections were so well received with many of them selling immediately.

We are OPEN today. Downtown is hopping with Colony Days, Fall Festival etc, shop hours are 12-5, and parking is available in our shared lot with Carlton Hotel. Any spot in the lot can be used if you’re coming to Specs. See you soon!

Illness has slammed our crew hard lately. We will be opening a bit late tomorrow at 11, and will be short staffed, so wait times may be longer than usual.

Wishing for healthy times and strong immune systems! Never fear tho, lots of fun things in the works even when I’m sick in bed. Thanks for your patience and understanding! We will update on Saturday hours ASAP.

I’m back!!!! Savannah orchestrated this photo - they had me stand in the middle and all looked at me adoringly and I got embarrassed and cracked up! 🫣🥰

I love this crew and I love this shop and I love this little life of mine in Atascadero. Was so happy to fly back to the central coast. What’s that saying about creating a life you don’t need a vacation from? It is so good to feel inspired while away, but I can’t wait to unlock the shop door this morning. See you soon!
