We schedule oil changes, dental cleanings, hair appointments, and annual checkups.

But how often do we intentionally check in on our mental health?

You don't have to wait until you're completely overwhelmed to ask for support.

Therapy can also be a place to work on communication, strengthen relationships, develop coping skills, and better understand yourself.

Taking care of your mental health is worth making time for. 🌿

Setting boundaries doesn't always mean having a big, uncomfortable conversation.

Sometimes it's as simple as:

"Let me check my schedule."

"I can't commit to that right now."

"I'll get back to you tomorrow."

"That doesn't work for me."

Boundaries help us manage our time, energy, and relationships.

And sometimes the most useful boundary is simply giving yourself permission not to answer immediately. 💚

A good day doesn't require everything to go according to plan.

You can have a frustrating morning and a really enjoyable afternoon.

You can be stressed about work and still laugh with your friends.

You can have something difficult going on and still find moments worth appreciating.

Try not to let one hard moment decide how you feel about the entire day.

There's usually room for more than one feeling. 🌿

Your weekend doesn't have to be packed with plans, but it should have a little room for something you enjoy.

Get outside. Try a new restaurant. Visit a friend. Take a drive. Start a project. Go somewhere fun.

Sometimes we get so caught up in everything we have to do that we forget to make time for the things we actually want to do.

Here's your reminder to make a little room for fun this weekend. ☀️

Stress doesn't always look like worrying.

Sometimes it looks like having a shorter temper, feeling overstimulated, struggling to concentrate, or getting frustrated over things that normally wouldn't bother you.

If you've been unusually irritable lately, take a minute to check in.

Are you sleeping enough? Taking breaks? Carrying too much? Getting any time to yourself?

Recognizing stress early gives you a better chance to address it before it builds. 💚

Just because a thought shows up doesn't mean you have to follow it.

We all have moments of overthinking, second-guessing, or imagining the worst.

This week, practice noticing those thoughts without immediately treating them as facts.

Ask yourself: Is this something I know, or something I'm worried might happen?

Sometimes that little bit of space can change how we respond. 🌿

It's finally starting to feel like fall! 🍂

So we're curious, what's your favorite fall activity?

🎃 Pumpkin patches
🔥 Bonfires
🥾 Hiking or being outside
🏈 Football
🎬 Scary movies
☕ Staying home with something warm to drink

We're voting for more time outside and cooler weather.

What's your pick?

Feeling scattered lately?

Try doing one thing at a time for 15 minutes. Put the phone down, close the extra tabs, and give your attention to one task.

Multitasking can make an already busy day feel even more overwhelming.

Sometimes being productive starts with doing a little less at once. 🌿

When we talk about su***de prevention, the conversation often begins when someone is already in crisis.
But prevention starts much earlier.
Alabama's State Su***de Prevention Plan identifies several factors that can help protect against su***de risk, including:
💙 Access to effective mental health care
💙 Connection to family, friends, and community
💙 Coping and problem-solving skills
💙 The ability to adapt when life changes
💙 Self-esteem
💙 A sense of purpose or meaning
These things don't make someone immune to depression, trauma, suicidal thoughts, or difficult circumstances.
But they remind us that su***de prevention isn't only about recognizing an emergency.
It's also about building lives and communities where people have support, connection, skills, resources, and somewhere to turn when things get hard.
Check on your people.
Make space for honest conversations.
Help someone connect with professional support when they need it.
And don't underestimate the importance of simply helping another person feel connected.
Prevention happens long before a crisis. 💙💜
If you or someone you know is experiencing a suicidal or mental health crisis, call or text 988.

When everything feels like too much, our brains have a tendency to lump it all together.
The house is a mess.
Work is stressful.
There are 14 things on the to-do list.
Someone needs something from you.
You're behind on something else.
And suddenly the problem becomes:
“I can't handle any of this.”
Instead, make the problem smaller.
Ask yourself:
What actually needs my attention today?
What can wait?
What can someone else handle?
What is the smallest next step I can take?
You don't have to solve the entire week on Tuesday.
Sometimes getting unstuck starts with making the problem small enough to actually do something about it.
