🌼 Do You Remember... Finger Jello? 🌼
As the Lunch Lady at Watch Me Grow Preschool, I'm always thinking about three things:
🍎 What recipes will nourish our little learners?
❤️ What foods will they be excited to eat?
🧠 How will those choices help them learn, play, and thrive throughout the day?
Finger Jello was one of my favorite childhood treats, so I decided to bring this retro snack back—but with a healthier twist! As a nutritionist, I love recreating nostalgic recipes using better ingredients. Ours is made with 100% fruit juice, no artificial colors, no added sugar, and served with fresh watermelon for a little extra sweetness and crunch.
Creating meals is fun, but creating meals and memories is even better. 💚
👇 Now it's your turn!
What was your favorite childhood snack? Was it Finger Jello, pudding cups, ants on a log, orange smiles... or something else? Share your memories in the comments!

3 cups 100% fruit juice (grape, cranberry, apple, or a blend)
4 packets unflavored gelatin
Fresh watermelon, diced (optional)
Directions
Pour 1 cup of juice into a saucepan and sprinkle the gelatin over the top. Let it bloom for 5 minutes.
Heat gently over medium-low until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Do not boil.
Stir in the remaining 2 cups of cold juice.
Pour into an 8x8-inch dish and refrigerate for at least 3–4 hours, or until firm.
Cut into cubes and serve with fresh watermelon.
