My pelvis has been (and continues to be) one of my greatest teachers about relationship.
And not just relationship with my body. Relationship with life. With other people. Because learning how to listen and build a relationship with my pelvis has been a mirror for how to build better relationships in all aspects of life.

This is one of the intentions behind Love Your Lips. To help you build a new relationship with your pelvis by learning to slow down and listen … skills that you can bring into your other relationships as well.

Head to substack, YouTube, or your favorite podcast platform to listen in full to today’s new podcast conversation, and listen to the excerpts here!

Finally, Love Your Lips starts November 11th. Head to the link in my bio to sign up!

Having another woman find and hold my uterus during a bodywork session for the first time changed my relationship to my womb.

Suddenly, I could feel her placement inside my body clearly. My internal compass, how I understand my womb, was no longer just energetic or visionary…it was deeply physical and embodied in a new way.

Since then, bringing my hands to my own womb has allowed me to understand the idea of womb as my compass in a very literal way. My womb’s position tells me so much about how I’m moving, breathing, tensing, relaxing. It is a literal compass that can guide my actions and decisions.

My womb work with my clients has deepened as well. We can work with the visionary layers of the womb and I can tend to her physically, which allows for such a beautiful mix of physical embodiment and energetic connection.

This is the essence of how we come home to ourselves, in my view. Tending to both the physical and the energetic equally, knowing that one deepens the other, and vice versa.

Come see me in Phoenix for womb work, or join me in Live Your Lips to learn how you can combine physical self touch and care while developing inner awareness and relationship with yourself.

What does it mean to be sovereign in your body?

It means knowing your body.

Through your own hands, touch, experience.

This is what we focus on in Love your lips.

Learning the anatomy of your pelvis and v***a then having the space to explore and discover your own experience of it.
Because you deserve to know your own body. And that kind of knowledge creates deeper sovereignty and self trust.
Because knowing about your body and knowing your body aren’t the same thing.

Love Your Lips begins November 11th. Four Wednesdays at 9 AM MST.

Enrollment is open. Details through the link in my bio.

What if your life can be a work in progress and that doesn’t mean you haven’t healed enough?

There’s a message woven through so much of the healing and personal development world:

Heal your blocks, and you’ll find the relationship.

Shift your money mindset, and abundance will come.

Do the work, have the breakthrough, become the version of yourself who finally gets to have the life she wants.

And what happens when you do the work, and life still doesn’t unfold the way you hoped?

It’s easy to turn that into another reason to question yourself.

Maybe there’s another block.
Maybe you haven’t gone deep enough.
Maybe there’s something else you need to heal before you’re ready to receive what you want.

I know how seductive that belief can be. I’ve lived through years of chronic Lyme disease and spent a lot of time working toward healing. At some point, I had to reckon with the fact that I couldn’t guarantee I’d never be sick or uncomfortable again.

That didn’t make the healing meaningless.

It changed what I understood healing to be.

I no longer see it as a finish line I have to cross before I can live. I see it as a relationship I keep returning to, a relationship with my body, myself, and the life I’m actually living.

You don’t have to make being fully healed the price of participating in your own life.

I explore this in this week’s podcast episode, What Healing Can and Can’t Promise You, including what I believe healing can offer, what I don’t think it can guarantee, and what becomes possible when we stop treating ourselves as unfinished projects.

Here’s a question to reflect on if this resonates with you,
What might become possible if you stopped treating healing as the thing that has to happen before you can fully live?

If you want, share your answer in the comments! I’d love to hear what this brings up for you.

Listen to the episode at the link in my bio, and come share your thoughts with me on Substack.

There’s a difference between being touched and learning to touch yourself.

Think about how much of the touch your body receives comes from somewhere outside of you.

A partner touching you.
A practitioner working with your body.
A vi****or or another tool creating sensation.

When you become the one who touches and tends to your body consistently, you no longer have to wait for someone else to tell you what they feel, what they see, or what your body is doing.

You learn to experience it for yourself.

This is how you reclaim your sovereignty.

Through building a relationship with your body belongs to you.

Because I believe that the person who should know your body the best, touch your body (with loving, intentional, non-extractive touch) the most, is you.

That’s part of why I created Love Your Lips.

Over four weeks, we’ll learn v-lva and pelvic anatomy and explore it through guided self-touch, breath, and embodied awareness.

And you’ll learn know her through your own hands, attention, and experience, and start building a relationship with your body and sovereignty that is entirely dependent on you and how you care for your physical form..

We begin November 11th.

Four Wednesdays, 9 AM MST, through December 2nd. $333, with recordings available.

If you’re a woman who’s ready to feel sovereign and free in her body, I’d love to welcome you in.

Details through the link in my bio.

You don’t have to be afraid to touch your v•lva. So many touch practices teach feather light touch that doesn’t actually meet the tissues how they want to be met—with presence, pressure, and intention. In Love Your Lips, I’ll teach you a touch practice that honors the physiological and energetic design of the v•lva tissues. Join me to learn how to tend to your body with your own hands, while attuning to the energy of the tissue as well, and build a relationship with a part of yourself you may have never been taught to know.

If you’re curious about learning to explore your own anatomy through intentional touch, Love Your Lips begins in November. Enrollment is open. Head to the 🔗 in my bio

Your body doesn’t have to present a problem to deserve your attention.

We’re taught to care for our bodies in a reactive way.

Something hurts, so we seek help.
Something changes, so we pay attention.
Something feels wrong, so we start trying to fix it.

Your relationship with your body can be about more than responding to problems.

You can get to know your v-lva because you’re curious. You can learn your anatomy because you want to understand yourself better. You can make time for your body simply because you live here.

You don’t have to wait until something hurts, feels different, or needs fixing to take care of yourself.

And you don’t have to be trying to achieve a particular feeling or outcome.

Sometimes care is simply the willingness to pay attention. To become familiar. To make room for a relationship with your body that isn’t built entirely around what needs to change.

Your body deserves to be cared for before something is wrong, too.

That’s part of the invitation behind Love Your Lips: four weeks of anatomy, intentional self-touch, breath, and embodied awareness to help you get to know your v-lva through your own hands, attention, and experience.

You don’t need a problem to solve. Curiosity is enough.

We’ll begin in November. Enrollment is open now.
