This page is your go-to resource for deepening your understanding of mental health and discovering ways to enhance your well-being. My name is Ann-Marie Lamin-Anthony, and I'm excited to be on Facebook as Nurse-Annish. I'm a registered nurse specializing in mental health. As a mental health nurse, my goal is to help people who struggle with mental illness, trauma, addiction, and other challenges. I see first-hand how common these issues are and how much stigma surrounds them. I want to use social media to help break down those stigmas and start meaningful conversations. On my page, I will share information about different mental health conditions, treatment options, coping strategies, and resources for support. I'll also share stories from my experiences as a nurse to give insights into recovery. My hope is that by helping to educate others, we can create more empathy and understanding. I enjoy cooking, shopping, and spending time with family when I'm not at the hospital. I'm looking forward to connecting with others as passionate as I am about mental health advocacy and community. Please message me if you have any questions or want to discuss specific topics. I'm here to help however I can. Follow Nurse Annish to stay informed and supported as you pursue better mental health. Let’s break the stigma and promote mental wellness together. Thanks for reading, and I look forward to getting to know you all better!

💙 NOVEMBER IS HERE: LET'S TALK ABOUT THE STORIES BEHIND STRENGTH.
Behind Every Strong Face Is a Story Worth Hearing.

This November, Gallant Minds Psychiatry is dedicating 30 days to raising awareness about men's mental health, family caregiver wellness, Alzheimer's disease, grief, and emotional well-being.

🧠 Some men have been taught to hide their emotions.
💚 Some caregivers have forgotten what it feels like to receive care themselves.
💙 Some families are navigating challenges they rarely discuss openly.

It's time to change the conversation.
Throughout November, we'll share mental health education, practical coping strategies, early warning signs, and resources that encourage understanding and timely support. ✨ Strength includes asking for help.
✨ Caregivers deserve care, too.
✨ Every story deserves compassion.

📣 JOIN OUR 30-DAY AWARENESS CAMPAIGN!
Follow Gallant Minds Psychiatry, share our educational posts, and help us create a community where seeking mental health support is recognized as a sign of strength.

💚🙏 FAITH AND MENTAL HEALTH CAN GO HAND IN HAND.

God cares about your heart, your mind, and your healing. 🕊️

Struggling emotionally does not mean your faith is weak. You can pray, trust God, and still seek professional mental health support.

✨ Prayer is powerful, and seeking help is courageous, not a lack of faith.

📖 “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” Psalm 147:3

“I’m fine.” Most of us have said it when we weren’t.

Depression doesn’t always look like sadness. It can show up as constant tiredness, trouble focusing, less interest in things you enjoy, or irritability that seems to come out of nowhere.

If any of this sounds familiar, consider talking with a qualified mental health professional. You don’t have to figure it out by yourself.

Share this with someone who may need to hear it.
