Shriners Children's Erie is dedicated to improving the lives of children by providing exceptional orthopedic care, regardless of the families' ability to pay or insurance status. The outpatient clinic focuses on a wide range of pediatric orthopaedic conditions, including rare diseases and syndromes as well as common, everyday conditions and injuries. These services include physician care through our outpatient clinic, physical, occupational and speech therapies, motion analysis evaluations, child life services, medical nutrition therapy and radiology testing. Shriners Children's Erie is a regional leader in orthopaedics and is equipped and staffed to provide care for numerous pediatric orthopaedic problems. Some of the orthopaedic conditions most commonly treated include:
• Fractures
• Sports injuries
• Orthopaedic issues related to cerebral palsy
• Hand deformities
• Hip disorders
• Limb deficiencies
• Leg length discrepancies
• Metabolic bone disease
• Neuromuscular disorders
• Scoliosis
• Skeletal growth abnormalities
• Spina bifida/myelodysplasia
• Clubfoot and congenital dislocated hips

Halloween may be over but Patient Ambassador Henry wasn't quite ready to put away the costume this year! After missing Shriners Children's Erie's Trunk or Treat, Henry arrived at his occupational therapy appointment dressed head-to-toe as an Oompa Loompa.

Known for going all out every Halloween, Henry certainly stayed true to form and thoroughly surprised his therapist, Allie Blatt!

Join us in congratulating patient ambassador Morgan on her commitment to play softball at Keuka College Keuka College in New York! 🥎🎉

This fall, Morgan will begin an exciting new chapter as she pursues a degree in Psychology with a minor in Sports Management. Morgan has faced every challenge with courage and determination and it's been inspiring to watch her grow into the confident, hardworking young woman she is today.
