10/26/2026
Good Evening Generations Team,
The severe weather and destruction experienced on October 23, 24, and 25, 2026, have disrupted our ability to make direct contact with some of our clients. Many of our clients rely on family members and caregivers for daily support. Unfortunately, many roads remain impassable, bridges have been damaged or destroyed, and homes have been lost.
Since Saturday, the staff at Generations has continued reaching out to our clients to check on their safety and well-being, while also ensuring the safety of our employees. We encourage both employees and clients to reach out to our office if assistance is needed. Please do not hesitate to let us know how we can help during this difficult time.
I am deeply grateful for the safety and dedication of our staff and for the trust, care, and support of our clients and their families. During this challenging time, we welcome any additional guidance, suggestions, or offers of support that may help us better serve our clients and the communities affected by this devastating weather.
**Office Contact and Assistance**
If you are an employee, client, or family member/caregiver and need assistance, have concerns about someone’s safety, or have updates regarding a client’s well-being, please contact the Generations office at 505-327-1199.
If you are unable to reach a client due to road closures, damaged bridges, loss of phone service, or other storm-related conditions, please notify the office so we can coordinate follow-up and determine what assistance may be needed.
**After-Hours Contact:**
If you need assistance outside regular office hours, please contact oncall.
Please do not put yourself at risk attempting to travel through unsafe conditions. If there is an immediate threat to life or safety, call 911.
Thank you for keeping communication open and helping us look out for the safety and well-being of our employees, clients, and their families.
Also, thank you all for your continued compassion, commitment, and support for one another.
With gratitude,
Patty
