More power does NOT start with your paddle..

It starts with YOU💪🏼

Developing rotational strength and the ability to produce force quickly can help you generate more power on the court.

That’s why I love incorporating rotational training with Crossover Symmetry to help older players build strength and explosiveness!

Pair that with the new Selkirk BOOMSTIK ST, designed to deliver explosive power and spin, and you’ve got a pretty exciting combination🔥

Build the power. Bring it to the court.

Two of the BEST leg machines for pickleball players👇🏼

If you’re playing pickleball 3–5 times per week but aren’t doing any strength training, you’re missing a HUGE piece of the puzzle.

Pickleball involves plenty of movement, but playing more pickleball doesn’t necessarily build the strength you need to move better, absorb force, and stay healthy on the court.

That’s where these two machines come in👇🏼

1️⃣ LEG PRESS — heavy, slow resistance

▪️Strengthens your quads and glutes to help you push off, accelerate, and recover from low positions.
▪️Allows you to progressively increase resistance without needing complicated movements.
▪️Builds the strength needed to handle repeated lunges, quick stops, and changes of direction.

2️⃣ HAMSTRING CURL — builds posterior chain strength

▪️Strengthens the hamstrings, which play an important role in knee stability and deceleration.
▪️Helps build the capacity to control your body when slowing down and changing direction.
▪️Easy to progressively overload. Try controlling the lowering phase for 2–3 seconds!

Here’s the takeaway👇🏼

You don’t need fancy exercises to become a stronger pickleball player.

You need consistent strength training that challenges your muscles and progresses over time.

📌 SAVE this for your next gym session!

Always feeling stiff and tight after pickleball?👇🏼

Think about what you’re asking your body to do every time you step on the court…

Lunging, reaching, accelerating, stopping, and changing directions. Over and over again.

If your body isn’t adequately prepared for those demands, it’s no surprise that you might feel pretty beat up afterward.

Your first instinct might be to stretch more, but.. what if part of the solution is getting STRONGER⁉️

Two exercises I LOVE for my 55+ pickleball players:

▪️Lateral Lunges: Build strength and control for those side-to-side movements.

▪️Dumbbell Deadlifts: Strengthen your hips and legs to better produce and absorb force.

The goal is to build a body that can better tolerate the demands of the sport you love.. because playing more does not automatically do it

✅SAVE this for your next workout & SEND to your doubles partner

Don’t hate me, but..👇🏼

Playing MORE pickleball isn’t always the answer to becoming a BETTER pickleball player👀

Drilling? Essential.

Recreational play? Valuable.

Tournaments? Important.

But none of these completely replace the benefits of developing a well-rounded ATHLETE.

That’s where intentional strength, speed, and power development come into play..

Take sprinting, for example.. When programmed appropriately, it provides a unique stimulus that can help develop👇🏼

▪️Acceleration and first-step explosiveness
▪️Force production and lower-body power
▪️Deceleration and stopping ability (with appropriate drills)
▪️A foundation for multidirectional speed and change of direction

The goal isn’t to replace time ON the court. It’s to complement it with training OFF the court.

Parents and coaches: Are your young athletes doing any structured speed or strength training outside of their sport⁉️
