Yesterday, Challenge Enterprises proudly welcomed community, business, and government leaders from across Northeast Florida for our annual National Disability Employment Awareness Month Breakfast, presented by Florida Power & Light.
Together, we celebrated the incredible impact of our workforce, including more than 200 adults with disabilities who contribute their talents, dedication, and skills every day across Northeast Florida and Southern Georgia.
We are grateful for the many partners, employers, elected officials, and supporters who joined us to recognize the importance of inclusive employment and the opportunities it creates for individuals, businesses, and our community. Special thanks to our partners, including SourceAmerica, the Clay County Board of County Commissioners, RESPECT of Florida, One Clay, Kindred Hospital North Florida, Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Middleburg, Holiday Inn Express Fleming Island, Penney Retirement Community and Waste Not Florida
We were honored to hear from our guest speakers, Willie Moore, Katie Gibbs, and Sheriff Michelle Cook, whose remarks highlighted the power of inclusive employment and strong community partnerships. Thank you as well to our employment partners, community leaders, and board members who continue to champion opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
At Challenge Enterprises, we believe employment changes lives. Yesterday's gathering was a powerful reminder that when businesses, community organizations, government leaders, and advocates come together, inclusion thrives.
Thank you for helping us build a stronger, more inclusive workforce and a community where everyone has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
