💄 Your “night makeup” probably doesn’t need a whole different makeup bag.

One of my favorite design principles applies beautifully to makeup:

Same palette. Different intensity.

Instead of starting over for evening, think deeper value, increased contrast, a stronger focal point and a little more dimension or glow.

Your daytime look and nighttime look can speak the exact same color language—they just speak at different volumes. ✨

And once you understand your colors? This gets SO much easier.

It’s a sobering truth. This is the same as why should never shame a victim for staying. People will choose familiar hell over unfamiliar Heaven. Because change is hard and scary, especially for a traumatized brain. So even though not doing anything is causing harm, it’s a harm they already know vs not knowing. But when a victim does leave, speak up, or set boundaries, the aftermath can sometimes have its own trauma. It’s messy no matter what. Those who can should always advocate for truth and help shine light into darkness.

Let’s talk SUMMER SKIN 😌✨
Because finding the right foundation in the summer?

That’s a whole different experience 😂
