🍂 Some of the most meaningful healing happens outside the four walls of my office. 🏜️🤎
This weekend, I had the beautiful opportunity to hike 5 miles along Taylor Creek Trail to Double Arch Alcove in Zion National Park with some very special people who began as clients and have become dear friends.
As we walked beneath the changing autumn leaves, surrounded by towering canyon walls and the quiet wisdom of nature, our conversations turned to grief, growth, resilience, and the beautiful complexity of being human.
We talked about how healing isn’t always about fixing what hurts. It’s often about learning to carry what life has given us with greater capacity, compassion, and grace.
Grief and growth have to coexist. Joy and sorrow must walk side by side. And just like the seasons, we are constantly being invited to release, adapt, and become.
Nature has a beautiful way of reminding us that change isn’t something to fear. It’s part of being alive. 🍁
I’m deeply grateful for the miles shared, the vulnerability in our conversations, the laughter along the way, and the reminder that healing happens in connection with ourselves, with each other, and with the natural world.
