Almighty God, there is much on our hearts this morning, that we are praying about and believing that You will answer. Lord our desire is to do Your will, but often times it appears as thou our efforts are fruitless and void of true purpose and direction. So our prayer this day, O God, is that You would save us from any confusion or doubt about our assignment in Life and what we should be doing to best fulfill our predetermined destiny. Search us, O God, and know our hearts; try us, and know our thoughts, and lead us in the way that You would have us to go. Grant us, dear God, as we enter into this new year, that there be no room in our souls for doubt, and if there is something that we need to do, see, or take action on, reveal it to us through a clear, distinct and deliberate vision, so that we may go about it with a sense of urgency. Lead us by Your Spirit, O God, and guide us along the path that You have set before us. Help us to be cautious and careful, that our own neglect and carelessness may not cause the loss of our faith, but keep us ever trustful as we look to the great God of our Salvation to guide us over the uncertain way. Lord we are ready and willing, and by Your spirit, fully capable to fulfill Your purpose for our lives. In the matchless name of Jesus the Christ, we do pray and declare it all. Amen. 🙏

Almighty God, we bless You this day for our lives, and give You praise for Your abundant mercy and grace towards us. Now fill our minds this morning, O God, with loving thoughts; and grant us that we may spend every hour of the day according as You have purposed in Your will. LORD be our “Present Help” today and show Yourself strong in our behalf. Be with us, dear Lord, in the worries and the disappointments it may bring, that we may be patient with ourselves and with those around us; in our moments of fatigue and illness, that we may be mindful of others rather than we ourselves; in our temptations; that we may be generous and loyal, so that when the day is over we may lay it at Your feet, with its successes which are all Yours, and its failures, which are all our own, and feel that life is real and peaceful and blessed, when it is spent with You O Lord, our Strength and our Redeemer. By the might of Your Spirit, keep us, we pray, in Your presence, where we may be still and know that You are God. In JESUS name!

Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him. — Psalm 37:7

Sometimes the real Effort behind achieving Rest is in Quieting our Thoughts, Releasing Control, and Trusting God with what I have placed in HIS hands.

Almighty God of heaven and earth; who created the universe beyond our knowing and knows even the number of hairs on our head. Lord we know that You are an omnipresent God, that You are everywhere and in all things; but so often, and for so many, we are made to feel like You have withdrawn Your presence from us, and the world around us has become a desert place. So we approach Your throne of grace this morning, as did David, with one desire, that we may forever remain in Your presence! In Your presence is fulness of joy, and at Your right hand are pleasures for evermore. Lord receive us now into Your secret place and keep us as the apple of the eye. Cover us, Lord GOD, and hide us from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the workers of iniquity; cast us not away from Your presence; and take not Your holy spirit from us! Oh how we pray Your divine covering today! For the church, facing pressure from beyond, and discord from within; when even the church feels like a desert place, cover us, Lord GOD. For ourselves, our families and friends, when loneliness, fear, shame, and anxiety, and busy-ness, take root, and You seem far from us; cover us, Lord GOD! Manifest Yourself like never before. Make Your presence felt anew. Make it true for us, for Your church, for our world, that Your name is Emmanuel, God with us! In JESUS name!

O LORD God, thank You for keeping us and for waking us to see and be a part of yet another day that YOU have made. Lord we are determined to be glad and rejoice in it. Therefore we pray this day for the health and strength of Your people. By Your word, dear Lord, You have declared that with Your stripes, we are healed. So today we pray, by the mercies of Christ, that You would look upon the infirmities of Your people, and heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among them. Heal us, O LORD, and we shall be healed; save us, and we shall be saved: for You are our praise. Lord grant those in need of healing, the faith required to receive Your healing Grace; grant them also, dear God, the power to be delivered from the denial of their eating habits so that they may eat to live; from their willingness to smoke, to drink and to expose themselves to disease as a reckless behavior. O God, we pray for not just any healing today, but God we petition Your Throne of Grace, and intercede also for those who have terminal illnesses. Lord GOD, perform a miracle in their bodies today; that by Your healing power, lives would be forever changed, and You Lord, would be forever exalted and glorified! In JESUS name!

Beloved, when the storm leaves you without words, bow your head and let your heart pray. God hears you through the rain, holds you through the wind, and gives you strength to keep trusting Him!

Almighty God, we come unto Your Throne of Grace this morning, with quiet and confident hearts, and with a song of praise on our lips. We praise You, O God, for Your lovingkindness towards us; for Your mercy; and for Your compassions which fail not, but are new every morning. Thank You Lord, for giving us the grace to believe in You and in Your Word, even in the midst of the storms of life, providing for us a place of rest. O God, everyday we seek Your face; so that when trials come, we can call on You, confident that You will answer. Even in the midst of seemingly impossible odds, and the many demands placed on us in this life; Lord our hearts remain steadfast in You. By Your Word, we are assured that we will see Your Goodness in the land of the living, therefore we faint not! How Blessed are we, Lord GOD, because we Trust in You; our confidence is in You; and in Your presence we are refreshed, restored and renewed. Though storms continue to rage in our lives, our hearts shall not fear: and even as our enemy would rise against us, in this will we be confident; that You, O Lord, will deliver us from all of our troubles. Now release in us, dear Lord, Your strength and Your boldness that we may confidently rest in Your promises; and we'll give You glory and we'll exalt Your Holy name this day! In JESUS name!
