One of the most common side effects of chemotherapy is nerve damage.
For many people, that means burning, tingling, numbness, or stabbing pain in the hands, feet, or legs.
Itโs often called chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathyโor CIPN.
But the thing most people arenโt told:
This kind of nerve damage doesnโt always go away after treatment ends.
In fact, for some, the nerve pain gets worse with time.
Most patients are told to wait it out.
Or theyโre given medications like Gabapentin, Cymbalta, or Lyrica to manage the pain.
And while those medications can dull the symptoms for some, they donโt fix the problem.
The nerves are still damaged.
The communication system is still disrupted.
And the pain, numbness, or weakness keeps showing upโday after day.
In many cases, patients are told that they "just have to live with it".
But we donโt accept that, because that is simply NOT true.
At Health Source Acupuncture & Integrative Medicine, we take a different approach.
Instead of masking symptoms, we focus on restoring function.
That starts with understanding whatโs actually happening inside the nervous system.
When the nerves are damaged by chemo, they lose their ability to communicate correctly.
The electrical signals get scrambled.
The body doesnโt know how to regulate pain anymore.
Thatโs why we created the BECRโข Method.
Itโs a method we developed to support the nerves at the cellular level.
It combines modern bioelectric stimulation with precision acupuncture to help stimulate and restore damaged nerves.
It doesnโt just soothe the painโit helps the nerves work to the best of their ability so that the symptoms of neuropathy improve.
Don't let anyone say there are no other options because there is hope for real relief.
