‼️If you’re taking GLP-1s like semaglutide, tirzepatide, or considering retatrutide, there are TWO things you need to prioritize‼️

Eating enough protein and strength training! ☝🏼

Yes, these drugs work really well for weight loss, even without proper nutrition or exercise.

But here’s the problem‼️

You’re not just losing fat. You’re also losing muscle, potentially a significant amount!

Lately, it’s becoming concerning how casually these drugs are being used and talked about. Everyone celebrates how quickly the weight comes off, but how much of that is actually FAT?

What about your muscle, strength, bone health, and body composition, especially for women as we get older?

Losing weight quickly doesn’t automatically mean you’re getting healthier!

And what happens if you stop taking the medication?

Weight regain is common, especially without better habits in place.
And if you’ve lost significant muscle, you could end up with a higher body fat percentage than when you started. 🔔

Do you have a plan for maintaining your results long term?

I’m NOT against GLP-1s! I think they can be a great tool for the RIGHT person.

But I’ve also had clients lose 80 to 100 pounds WITHOUT weight loss medications. It absolutely can be done with consistent training, proper nutrition, and better daily habits.

That doesn’t mean everyone needs the same approach, but the fundamentals still matter!

Whether you’re using medication or not, prioritize weight training, eat enough protein, and build habits you can maintain long term🙏🏼

The goal isn’t just a lower number on the scale. It’s to lose FAT, preserve muscle, support your bone health, and improve your overall health! 💪🏼

And most importantly, have a plan for KEEPING your results, not just losing the weight! ❤️

From Iran to the Olympia stage 🅾️☀️❤️

No matter where life takes me, I’ll never forget who I am or where I come from.

After all these years of working toward the Olympia, standing there proudly holding our flag meant so much to me!Representing my roots, my culture and the strength of Iranian women on one of the biggest stages in the world has been such an honor.
It’s something I hold close to my heart and never take for granted.

Growing up, I competed in swimming/water polo and my sister competed professionally in gymnastics. Even then, our dad wasn’t allowed to come watch us compete.
Those experiences have stayed with me as I’ve pursued opportunities I wish every girl back home could have🙏🏼

There are so many talented women in Iran who don’t have the same opportunities to pursue their dreams in such sports to compete internationally & I hope one day soon that changes! And I hope my journey continues to inspire other women, especially young Iranian girls❤️

The love and support I received from Iranians around the world, my friends, clients and even people I’ve never met was so overwhelmingly beautiful.
Every message, every kind word and everyone who celebrated this moment with me meant more than you know 💕

I hope one day we can all celebrate moments like this together.

Forever proud of my roots and grateful for where this journey has taken me.

Iran, you’ll always be a part of me ❤️

Nothing beats a good leg day post-competition, especially when you get to explore new gyms, try different equipment, enjoy a new environment and meet new people! 🔥🙌🏼

Last weekend at Champs Elysium Gym, putting that post-show dinner to good use with a great glute pump! 🍑

✅ 2 hip thrust variations
✅ Single-leg hip press
✅ Pit Shark RDLs
✅ Reverse frog glute raises
✅ Machine donkey kickbacks

I love trying different machines and variations, especially ones I don't normally have access to.
Always fun to challenge the muscles in different ways while keeping the same fundamentals!

What's one piece of equipment you wish your gym had? 👀

Make it easier to be consistent.

Follow an actual workout program instead of piecing together exercises you saved on Instagram. Log your weights and reps so you know what you did last time and what you’re working toward.

Build your schedule around the time you actually have. If that’s three workouts a week, start there.

Learn how to track your food and understand portions. A meal plan can help, but you also need to know what to do when you’re traveling, eating out or don’t have your meals ready.

And if you want a coach’s help, you don’t need to get in shape first or spend years to figure it out on your own!
Getting started is part of what they’re there to help you with.

Which of these do you need to work on? 😎

A few takeaways from the seminar with Bret Contreras, Alan Aragon and Brad Schoenfeld🙌🏼

So much reinforced what I’ve been preaching to my clients for years and practicing myself.
It’s always good to see the research supporting those principles🙌🏼

‼️There’s no single best diet.
Different approaches can work when calories and protein are comparable. Find one you can follow consistently.

Keep lifting, eat enough protein and avoid cutting calories too aggressively.

‼️Recomp is possible too.
Building muscle while losing fat depends on your starting point, training experience and nutrition.
It’s generally easier for beginners or those returning after time off.

‼️Look beyond the scale.
Measurements, photos and training performance help tell the full story.

In my program, we build strength with the time you have and improve habits so consistency becomes easier over time.

That means flexible training and nutrition that fit around family, friends and the life you’ve worked hard to build.

Learn how to fuel your body, get stronger and build confidence while creating a lifestyle you don’t need a break from🙌🏼👌🏼

That’s the STRONG Method.

Peak Week Training Highlights 💪🏼

A few clips from different training sessions during my peak weeks !

One thing about me, I never really stop pushing myself during peak week.
I still train hard and give my best with whatever I have that day, while also being mindful of recovery.

And no, flexing isn't my actual warm-up 😂

I've talked about this with my clients a lot.
Your warm-up should prepare you for your workout, not leave you tired before you even start your working sets.
I usually start with a few lighter sets and gradually increase the weight until I'm ready for my working sets.
The goal is to get your muscles and joints ready for the heavier loads without wasting unnecessary energy 👌🏼

Some of my latest lower-body staple exercises:

🍑 Hip thrusts (different variations)
🍑 Seated, bridged and leaning hip abductions
🍑 Squats(glute & quad dominant)
🍑 Reverse lunges and weighted step-downs
🍑 RDLs (different variations)
🍑 45-degree hyperextensions glute focused
🍑 Different kickback variations and angles to emphasize different areas of the glutes
🍑 Leg extensions, Leg curls

Of course, I don't do all of these in one session!
I normally train lower body 3 times a week.
During peak week, I usually have one hard lower-body session and another full-body workout that includes some lower-body work.

Most of these exercises have been staples in my training for years.
I don't constantly change my workouts just for variety.
I focus on getting stronger, improving my ex*****on and continuing to progress with movements that work well for me.
