A new expression of timeless design unfolds in Asunción, Paraguay.

Today marks the official Paraguayan launch of Royale Design by Pininfarina, a collaboration with Grupo Petra that brings together Italian design excellence and the rich cultural identity of Paraguay.

Inspired by the artistry of Ñandutí and the unique character of its surroundings, Royale embodies a vision where architecture, innovation, and local heritage come together to create an extraordinary living experience.

As we celebrate this milestone in Asunción, we are proud to unveil the project’s official video for the very first time, bringing the vision behind Royale to life.

Exploring the intersection of human craftsmanship and robotic intelligence.

At ACADIA 2026, Pininfarina’s Design Innovation Lead, Nicholas Desbiens, joined forces with Aldo Sollazzo and Hritik Thumar of LAMÁQUINA to lead Craft Recoded: Human Gesture and Robotic Intelligence in Clay Fabrication, a hands-on workshop exploring how traditional craftsmanship can inform the future of robotic fabrication.

Through motion tracking and robotic technology, participants translated human gestures into data, transforming handcrafted clay surfaces into new forms of creative expression.

We are proud to share that the workshop was recognized as Best Workshop at ACADIA 2026, celebrating an approach to innovation where technology enhances human creativity rather than replacing it.

Congratulations to Nicholas, our collaborators at LAMÁQUINA, and all the students who brought this exploration to life. Special thanks to ACADIA and Lawrence Technological University for hosting!

Introducing Aria Design by Pininfarina.

Born from the idea of air in motion, Aria brings Pininfarina’s aerodynamic thinking to the world of beach tennis.

Developed in collaboration with KONA, the racket combines sculptural design, streamlined geometry and performance to create a light, agile and fluid experience on the court.

Its name—Aria, Italian for “air”—captures the essence of a design shaped to minimize resistance while enhancing maneuverability and responsiveness.
