FOODiversity Preventing Hunger & Medical Emergencies
through education, support and increased access To donate: https://bit.ly/GiveSafeFOOD

The risk of hunger is REAL.

FOODiversity (EIN 86-2607349 ) is a registered 501(c)(3); all donations further the vision and are fully tax-deductible. FOODiversity's mission: To lessen the burden of food insecurity for individuals with food allergy, celiac disease, alpha-gal syndrome and other food-related conditions

FOODiversity's 3 Areas of Focus:

1. Raising awareness
by shining a light on health disparities

2. Providing educational and financial support
FOODiversity is the central hub,
cinching together organizations that
are known as key service providers in
the food allergy and celiac disease
communities. FOODiversity’s partners become the
hub, the providers of resources. FOODiversity bolsters its partners’
services with philanthropy. It truly takes a village, and
FOODiversity has created one.

3. Increasing access to resources
For people to thrive - with food
allergy, food intolerance, or celiac
disease - resources are crucial. FOODiversity is the connection to
resources, for the people who need
them most. For additional information: [email protected]

Today is Donor-Advised Fund Day!

Your Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) is more than a charitable giving tool. It’s an opportunity to support the causes you care about and make a meaningful difference in your community.

This October 8th, consider recommending a grant to FOODiversity to help expand access to nutritious food and trusted health information for individuals and families navigating food insecurity alongside food allergies and celiac disease.

Your DAF can do more today. Thank you for considering FOODiversity as part of your giving!

We’re excited to share that FOODiversity has received a grant from the Iredell County Community Foundation to improve allergen-friendly and gluten-free accommodations at food pantries and food banks across Iredell County.

This support from the Foundation for the Carolinas will help make food assistance more inclusive and accessible for people living with food allergies and celiac disease, so that having a dietary restriction doesn’t mean having fewer options.

We’re incredibly grateful to the Foundation for the Carolinas for investing in this work and helping us make a difference in our local community!

September is Hunger Action Month, a time to recognize that food insecurity can look different from family to family.

For many families, food insecurity means worrying about whether there will be enough food on the table. For families living with food allergies and celiac disease, it can also mean worrying about whether the food available is safe for them to eat.

FOODiversity believes everyone deserves access to food that meets their needs. That's why we're working with families, food pantries, schools, healthcare systems, and other community organizations to make food access safer, more nutritious, and more inclusive.
