NYC Halloween 2026: Barry family circus and it came together better than I imagined 🥰 or as my amazing hubby Matt Barry calls it - “mommy’s superbowl!” 🙊

We had the ring leader, the popcorn girl, a magician, a lion, a mime, a clown, and the worlds strongest man. We even had a fortune teller link up with us!

The only way we were getting these kids around was on our Veer City XL wagon. It took one evening after the kids went down to build the frame for the tent using PVC pipe from The Home Depot and a Saturday morning to cut, glue, (and sew!) the fabric “curtains” together. The magic is always in the details and we got a bunch of em!

We ended the night putting the kids down, inviting our neighbor over to babysit and continued our annual tradition of eating dinner down in the village and walking the parade route home (it never disappoints!)

This is honestly my best birthday yet 🥰

There was a time in my life (when we had pregnancy loss after pregnancy loss) where I thought, “I’ll never have a baby before I’m 40.”

My identical twin sister had several kids at that point and I couldn’t seem to get past the starting line, which made it harder (it’s a win thing - we are super competitive since birth 😆)

I remember on my birthday 3️⃣ years ago my sister told me she was pregnant with baby number 3, while I just had a stillbirth 2 months prior and another failed embryo transfer that week. That was a tough birthday.

I remember on my birthday 2️⃣ years ago I still didn’t have a earthside baby, but surrogacy joined the chat.

I remember on my birthday 1️⃣ year ago - when I turned 4️⃣0️⃣🎂- we had 2 beautiful earthside babies born via surrogacy.

And now today, on my birthday, we are blessed with 4 beautiful earthside babies. God is so good.

The most beautiful thing happened this morning - our rainbow 🌈 baby, Jack, blew a kiss to his baby brother in Heaven Bodhi’s sonogram that have hanging in their nursery and said, “Hi baby 👋” 🥹

All things are possible. If God puts it on your heart, He will find a way. ❤️
